Installation Instructions:
TO INSTALL YOUR BLUE STEEL TRUSS MODULAR STAIRS...
(1) Place the stairs in your 'Downloads' folder as usual.
(2) Find where you originally installed The Sims 2 game (not the expansion packs) and look for the folder TSDataResCatalogScripts (see picture). It is usually in THIS location:
C:Program FilesEA GAMESThe Sims 2TSDataResCatalogScripts
(3) Open the file 'modularStairs.txt' and find an empty space at the bottom of the page.
(4) Check that you don't have these stairs installed already. Look for a text block called # cyclonesue_stairs_truss_blue modularStairs 543. If you find it, you don't need to do anything else!
(5) Copy and paste the following block of text below into a space at the bottom of the file (see picture):
# cyclonesue_stairs_Truss_Blue
modularStairs 543
