Well the economy around here isn't go so great either. Mike & Karen had to sell their MINIcoopers for some cheap used cars that are cheap enough for us to afford their upkeep. EVERYTHING about MINIcoopers was expensive....even having the oil changed because of this special tool you have to have to do anything with the oil which of course MINI ONLY sells to DEALERS. On Dec.1st Karen went to work like normal.....only instead of the usual morning meetings it was a ____, ____, ___, Karen, & ______ go clean out your desks! So just before CHRISTMAS Karen & 8 others got the ax! The company figured out how to automate the work their department did.....so they all got automated right out of their jobs! So Karen got another job BUT it doesn't pay as much + there is a LOT more $ going for gas & such because she has to drive as part of her new job BUT they only pay so much......which means this job pays less but costs us more to maintain this new job. So now they've each got a Honda. Karen & Laurie are both playing TS3. Personally I don't like it (Karen has been trying her darndest to get me to want to play it ) at all it's not JUST the way it looks .... I really LIKE having different SIMS......I've got ethnic Sims, punk rocker Sims, gothic sims, grunge sims, posh sims, nature lovers, family Sims......you name it. You're getting a new place? How exciting! I'm not doing nearly as bad as Laurie but the weather has NOT been cooperating. It's been unseasonably cold over all......a few warm days here & there but mostly temps in the 60's-F.....& normally we're in the upper 70's-mid80's. So my body is still under the impression that we're in early spring....not early summer. I hope you can get your stories published & make some $ with what you create. I hope to hear from ya soon.
