I had no plans on building a huge Abbey for my vampires, then the mailbox bug struck and they had to move. :( Although designed for the children of the night, this makes a good all-purpose medieval stately home. Includes crypt and cloisters. Front wing fully furnished and ready to inhabit.

From the 1960s cult TV show. Not one of the featured buildings, but a distinctive structure of the sinister "Village" and its real life counterpart (Portmeirion, in N. Wales). Living space for up to four lucky detainees, room in the grounds for a driveway, and an empty basement for further expansion.

Based on Tim Burton's version of "Sweeney Todd". Bedroom and hair salon upstairs, dining and living rooms downstairs, and bathroom in the basement. Sadly, I couldn't include any way to kill off the customers and eat their remains (though I suggest getting someone to donate a cow plant to the lot).

A partially open marketplace with stalls, thatched shelters, and an open-air bar (built on a wooden deck). Food, clothes, crafts, jewellery, drinks and magazines are available for your Aztec sims (but not video games, which were just too anachronistic).

Chinampa-style farmstead, built on a lake, with thatched cottage, connecting bridge, plot for farming, and fruit trees. Olde-style slightly hurt by the necessary amenities, but this is still a good starting-point for historical Sims craving self-sufficiency.

Boat-shaped dwelling built into a hillside, as seen in the cult series "The Prisoner". The stationary ship was claimed to be a cruel joke to mock prisoners with their lack of freedom. In reality, the "Boat" is an actual building in the village of Portmeirion, North Wales.

An Italianate bell tower, as seen in the cult TV series "The Prisoner". Its actual function as a lot is a small outdoor café. Please be aware that this building uses the setHighestAllowedLevel cheat to increase the number of floors (this can affect less powerful video cards, though shouldn't with a small lot such as this).
