FREE SCHEDULE AND SPECIAL THANKS!
With the Holidays fast approaching, I want to take the time to thank each and every one of you for the wonderful support you've given me. :D As a special "Thank you", I have arranged with TSR to release 2 lots instead of 1 on the dates you see below. I have purposely NOT listed my special Christmas Surprise lot, as I think anticipation before the holidays is SO much more fun. LOL!

CHRISTMAS QUESTION:
I am curious! Please give me YOUR Christmas list of the lot(s) you'd like to download most for Christmas! Keep this important rule in mind when choosing:
- The lot (or lots) you choose must have been released BEFORE the first week of September. (All lots must be at least 3 months old before I can release them.)
Just type your list, or choice, under comments here in my blog. (BIG ol' Comment button right there at the top.) Please don't PM me your choices, or add them in my guestbook. I won't count them. ;) The most popular choice/s will be considered for Christmas release. Happy Holidays!!!

Yes, Sims 3 is coming soon. For those who were wondering if I was going to abandon Sims 2, please be at ease. I will be getting Sims 3, and creating for it, but I'm going to continue creating for Sims 2 as well...never fear. LOL!

NS University Project - UPDATE!!

I have always meant to create a University based on my NostreSim Community lot, but as I am scatterbrained it sometimes takes me a while to get going on these big projects. ;) I have finally begun building the University, and to date have completed 2 lots - Both community, although Dorms are up next. LOL! Here's some previews so you can see how they'll go together in-game. (I am creating these in a University sub-hood, and using the Pleasantview template in case you wish to set them up the same way I have them pictured. :) )
NostreSim University...
Right now, plans are to create a few rental homes, some shopping, 2 dorms, a sorority and a frat house, and possibly a gym. *Whew!* Wish me luck all...this one may take a while. LOL!
UPDATE: I have done some revamping, and reorganizing. This set will be released in 2 sections. The On Campus Set, and the Campus Town Set.
ON CAMPUS SET - Consists of 7 lots...including NostreSim.
- Release Date: November 19th for this entire set!

Busy, busy, busy...can you tell I like to build? LOL! Anyway, I enjoyed creating the Contemporary lot so much, that I just had to keep going to the extreme. And so was born...Armande, a modern home!
ARMANDE - 3 Bed Modern Home
This lot is set for release on Nov. 3rd.

- EPs/SPs - Uni/NL/OFB/Seas/BV - Glamour Life/Kitchen&Bath - (Seriously...without the SPs in this lot, most of the wonderful interior decor will be missing. I relied heavily on them so I didn't have to rely on CC so much.)
- Amenities: Pool, Hot Tub, Landscaping (Gardener CAN get to plants, but plastic will save time and money), 3 Small Fountains, Attached Garage w/vehicle, Front Deck, Open Floor Plan, Large Gourmet Kitchen, Master bed/ensuite bath on 1st level with private exit to backyard, Fireplace, All skills/alarms/phones placed. Lot has been fully tested, and played well with no lag!

New Series : New Beach Lot : New Freebie!

Thank you to everyone! I see quite a few of you downloaded the Sommerset lot, and that makes me very happy. :) I also see that my apartments and duplexes seem to be doing well, and I sure do thank you for that!
NEW FREEBIE INFO- Oct 19 - Oct 26th

Well, some of you may have noticed that there are some subtle changes in the air...namely a return to a few Base Game Only lots. I have yet to let a month go that I didn't at least create a few of these challenging lots for those who prefer just Base Game, and this month is no exception. ;)
BRANDON VALLEY - BASE GAME LOT SET
These are being made available one at a time first, and then an entire set will be uploaded.
Set consists of:
- 2 Community Lots
- 2 Brand new lots
- Midwest Memories - Updated Cosmetically. (Which basically means I just did some redecorating, but no changes to the actual architecture or design.)

- No custom content at all!
- EPs: None
- You don't have to use both Community Lots as they are complete shopping experiences. Corner Drug is an all-in-one stop and is on a smaller lot. Downtown is a Medium lot and includes an EP ready bar and a lovely community park/church. Both are corner lots, please be sure to read the notes. :)
If the set goes over well, I have some ideas for some "Cracker Box" houses, and even a farm to add to it. Guess we'll have to see. :)

Downloading Lots...a reminder...

Here's a quickie way to be POSITIVE you will get that lot you really want!
First thing's first - If you are new to downloading here on TSR, or downloading in general, I would suggest reading these helpful tips and tricks:
Installing Sims 2 Custom Content
There are tabs on the left hand side of the screen that you can use to navigate these instructions.
Here's what it says about downloading lots:
"Residential & Community Lots
When downloading packaged Residential and Community Lots you will get a file ending with .Sims2Pack. Simply save this file anywhere that you will be able to find it (My Documents for example), then browse to the file using Windows Explorer, and click on it to install. A popup box will appear asking if you wish to install the package. You can also refer to the Sims 2 manual for details on installing .Sims2Pack files."

My advice is this:
1 - Be sure you have all the EPs necessary to download the lot.
2 - Download the lot using the ZIP file button (the green arrow). DO NOT open directly from the site. Some browsers and firewalls can corrupt the file in transit. To prevent this, ALWAYS save a file to your computer, and then open it from there instead.
3 - Save it to your computer somewhere easy to find.
4 - Open the ZIP file and extract the Sims2Pack file into the same folder.
5 - Once it is extracted, you can either double-click on it to install it, or use the Sims 2 Clean Pack Installer to install it.
Go to your lots bin that has lots that are already built, and scroll through them. Sometimes new lots will be at the beginning of your list, and sometimes at the end. PLEASE check the whole list before informing me that the lot isn't in your game.
ONE LAST THING - If despite your best efforts, and after doing all of this stuff, it still hasn't worked, it may well be just a server "hiccup". They do that sometimes. Wait around 5 minutes, and then try downloading it again the same way. At this point, if it STILL hasn't shown up in your game PLEASE...BY ALL MEANS...PM me! I want to know if one of my lots is having troubles so I can fix it! Thank you SO much for your support and feedback. :D
I do hope that this helps people better be able to enjoy my lots, as well as other lots! Happy simming!
