...A big surprise in store for those eager, awaiting fans. As Elanor was getting ready for her big date with Sam, the events of the night before ran over and over through her head.
Part of her thought she was going crazy. The other half believed that Kyle really had come back and he was out to get Sam. She couldn't decide on whether it was all just a guilt driven hallucination brought about by dating so soon after her husband's death, or whether it was real. As she fixed up her makeup, she wondered how much damage Kyle could do. He was a ghost. Possibly a hallucination...
and Sam was the best thing that has happened to her since Kyle died. She couldn't lose him. Not now.
Shaking the disturbing thoughts from her head, she grabbed her car keys, and with one last look in the mirror, she was off. They met up at the beach.
The sun was setting and light was fading fast. but for now it cast a purple-orange glow on everything. Putting everything else aside, Elanor let the evening swallow her. For now, she was a product of fate.
 "Hi," Sam said, with an incredibly nervous expression on his face.
Elle laughed. "Hi," she replied. "Why so nervous?"
"Oh," Sam said, shrugging/ "No reason. Just excited to see you, I guess."
Elle swooned.
"You look beautiful," Sam added. "OK," Elle said, staring into his brown eyes. "What's so important about tonight?"
Sam sighed and reached for her hand. Holding it gently, he told her how much his life had changed since they met. How much happier she had made him, and how he couldn't stand to be without her.
Looking at her feet, Elle was forced to remember Kyle's words. "If you see that man again, I'll make sure he ends up the same way I did. You belong with me, Elle. Not him. I am your only love....."

"I have powers, and you don't want to see them....."

"I forbid you..." "Elle," Sam said, breaking her out of her daze. "I know I might be moving too fast, but if you feel the same way I do, you'll know it's perfect timing..."
He was crouching in the sand on on knee, fumbling in his pocket for something.
Elle knew what was happening. But what could she say? What will Kyle DO? Sam grinned. "Will you marry me?"

Elle was silent. Kyle. Sam.
Which one?
After what he did last night, Elle no longer felt any romantic twinge for Kyle. Why couldn't he let go? She was with someone else.... would it have been the same if they just broke up while he was still alive? His words rung through her head.

"It's in your hands now," he said. "You decide." Elle shook her head.
"No," she said. "No, I can't... Kyle...."
Sam's face fell. "...Kyle?"
Elle nodded, starting to cry now. "... I just can't!"
"I thought..." Sam began, closing the ring box
Elle shook her head, crying harder. "I'm sorry, Sam"
She wiped her eyes and apologised.
"I'm so sorry," she whispered again, turning her back on Sam and running back up the beach, before she had a chance to change her mind.
