so i am comitted to submitting the 3 seater and 1 seater I have had sitting in my folder for 3 months or so. I would like to add a few more items to complete the set, but I am not sure if I'll be able to. I am travelling to Rome, Italy Thursday next week and then onto New Zealand for the month of November. Can't wait. I thank you all for your patience while I get my new business up and running and do a spot of travelling.
Watch this space, please and thank you.

Free at last. Free at last. Thank God almighty, we're free at last!

Following Shanninsim's lead, I have too set a bunch of my older sets to free forever. She is always an inspiration, you know! Clever, talented and very very funny - funny haha. Not funny weird.
The sets I have set free are all very old and some are very, well, dodgy. I hope they still bring some enjoyment to your game.
Much peace to all!

New clutter set
Posted On Aug 01, 2008 | 3 Comments
Yesterday I spent 15+ hours creating the first item in this set. The reason it took so long...? Because I am still, (after all this time), a little green when it comes to meshing, because I am not terribly familiar with the RL item and I do things and then realise I have made an insurmountable error in my meshing and have to begin again. Or I just can't seem to get the texture right. Whatever the reason, it took me a long while. But I am happy to say that it is finished. And I am quite proud of the results too!
So with Sectionals out of the way, I am now onto a new set. I hope ya'all like it.
I shant be including a preview pic... but the new item is decorative only in-game, but both decorative and functional in RL. And sometimes can be dang expensive. Oh and you need 2 parts for it to work.

Clear your clutter... not!

I remember a few years ago, my dear friend, Michelle embarked on a Feng Shui lifestyle, thinking her life would greatly improve, living life the Feng Shui way. One of the suggestions in the book she read was to "clear your clutter". She did. And she was minimalist.
I subscribe to a Zen type environment, much like my pal, Meesch did. I have a need for space and tranquility which is why my house is NOTHING like my mum's nor my sister's homes! They both seem to have this unbearable need to fill every shelf, every wall space, every inch of floor space with something. Anything! Even a frikken pine cone will do!! Or a piece of driftwood!! Less says more, after all - and I can hear my mother now... "If less says more, Pete, then imagine how much more MORE will say..." The point to this garbage entry is to say, my need for minimal notwithstanding, I am creating more and more useless, decorative, purely unecessary clutter items for your sims to trip up on. If a cluttered life is the norm, then it seems I live vicariously through my sims. Sad innit?!
Here's some champagne to add to a shelf in your sim's homes. No animation or function, of course. Just simply something to gather virtual dust.

Simmer Sewing Set

I have finally found some time to finish the Simmer Sewing set. I have made a lace/ribbon dispenser shelf unit thing, BASE-GAME, inanimate sewing machine (placeable on tables), some pics, a couple of mannequins and a shelf with thread, measuring tape and bobbin, some rather large rolls of fabric and a plant to brighten up the room. Hope ya'all like it. I'll put together the preview pics together and submit it this week sometime.
Best wishes,

Here it be...

The clutter set has three items thus far. These have all been very tough and although I have enjoyed the challenge, I have lost quite a bit of sleep over it. Therefore, the set will be a few days away from being complete. However, here is a sneak preview of what's to come. I have a few more to add but I thought i would add some pics of the items that are finished.
I hope they are liked. Two items are particularly heavy in polys. I tried to reduce these where I could, but they still have quite a large count.
I'm off to bed! Nighty night!

More clutter!

2 more items to add to the a-g-clutter set. The books were the easiest, of course. I just grabbed the books from the Bench bookshelf, renamed a couple and placed them on the floor. The radio, however, was another all day event. Finished this morning at 3.30!! p:)

Animations and Me
Posted On May 17, 2008 | 1 Comments
I cannot stand them! I do everything in a tutorial and STILL the items do not move! Nothing! NADA! I am resigned to the fact that everything I make will be inanimate and boring!
Had I a video camera filming me while trying to make items animated, I would not have blamed you for laughing at me! I must have looked like such a nobody! I was fumbling around SimPe - "Hmmmm... what does this button do, I wonder". Testing in-game to discover the item crashes my game. Whether said button is clicked or not!! New item is buyable in buy mode, and you can select it to buy it. Oh yes indeed! It all looks like it;s going to work until I place the darn thing on the lot. Sims freeze, music sticks and I get a lovely warm message appear before me: "programme crashed and will now terminate"
So, expect a great deal of nothing to appear here!
Grrr. Animations - the new swear word!
