Description
These plans are inspired by those in a 1936 architectural publication. In the post-depression years of the mid-1930's, developers made a move from cities into the surrounding countryside where land was plentiful and less expensive. Small affordable houses on larger lots - an enticing combination for city dwellers, and these modest country style homes seemed to fit perfectly into their surroundings. 3-4 bedrooms, 2 baths, 3x3 lots, lg back yards.

Creator Notes
I've attempted to make these houses as close to the originals as possible but they're a bit larger since Sims seem to require a little more room to move around than we do. You'll find modern conveniences such as dishwashers & computers missing but I have.

\:wub\: These are some very lovely homes, they remind me of that eras young girls dreams of the kind of homes they would live in after they were married. Especially the one with the white picket fence. These will make wonderful starter homes for my young newly married Sims too.\:D  Also, I wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed reading the brief history of these houses, how & why they came into existence.\:D  Thank you very much for sharing these with us.\:rah\:
