It's worth a try, miros1 - it might work in your game. Unfortunately, it's not usually a solution that works - certainly not for me (and those who tested the lot for me). At a glance, it does appear to stop the snow getting in, but Sims will still get cold up there. In order for that stop, the top floor needs to be completely enclosed. If you want to do this, check out Cyclonesue's Adding Windows beneath Gable Windows tutorial; the steps she shows on page 9-10, in Section 3, detail how to do this successfully.
