			<title>Apartment Mailboxes</title>
			<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/VictoriaGrace10/comments/?blogID=8623"/> <id>http://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/VictoriaGrace10/comments/?blogID=8623</id> <updated>2008-09-24T17:48:19Z</updated> <content type="html">When you are finished building your apartment lot and are ready to change from Residential to Apartment, here is what you do:

1. Open the cheat box window (CTRL + Shift)
2.  Type changeLotZoning apartmentbase
3. Save and Exit the lot into the neighborhood. You will see the apartment icon over your lot now!
4. Re-enter the lot and you will see the apartment mailbox in place of the standard house mailbox.

A few people have contacted me about Apartment Mailboxes not showing up in their game after doing the steps listed above. If this is happening to you, don't panic! You might be one of those who has downloaded recolors of maxis mailboxes in your game! I know I ended up with some and have no idea whose lot they came with. But, here is how you can get rid of them:

1. Go into your Sims2Pack Clean Installer, if you don't already have it, you can download it at http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/
2. Choose directory as downloads and then it may take a long time for all of your downloads to appear, depending on the size of your download file. Good time to go make a cup of coffee or dinner, in some peoples case!
3. Alphabetize your downloads by clicking the name bar.. that won't take as long at all.
4. Scroll down and delete ALL mailboxes you find.

Don't worry, when you reload your game and go into houses, the mailboxes will be replaced with maxis mailboxes! </content> <summary>When you are finished building your apartment lot and are ready to change from Residential to Apartment, here is what you do:

A few other houses are half finished, they just didn't keep my interest as I was building them! However, I do need to keep in mind that those are the ones that seem to be the most downloaded here on TSR! When I get bored, I start a new house and go back to the unfinished ones when the spirit moves me to do so. It's the artist in me that says move on, come back later..

I'm also working on two full room recolors (Nautical and the other is Retro), neither of which thrill me or I'd have finished them by now. Also have a couple of painting groups to release soon and a wallpaper set of magnificently gorgeous, bright nebula/star/outerspace, real, God-inspired WOWZA walls (in my humble opinion)! I say 'God-inspired' because they are actual pictures of outerspace, like my Orion Nebula walls. Anyway, I'm around and I'm working on many things..</content> <summary>I'm working on several different projects.. a couple of houses (alright, 4 or 5) one is a starter house, another is VERY elaborate, which is my personal preference. The lot had faulty terrain which showed up blue in the game. I wasn't aware of the problem until recently. I had the lot pulled and I recreated a brand new Ocean Breeze Estate lot with only MoonlitMaiden's terrain paint. There should not be a problem now. It is very important that you have Bon Voyage for this lot to work properly. I took MoonlitMaiden's advice and fixed a lot of the little annoyances that were in the original lot. Also added some things, lights, etc.. and used different wall coverings. I personally love playing this lot because there is so much to offer a little Sim family, and I hope that you will enjoy it too! </content> <summary>I want to apologize to everyone that downloaded the original Ocean Breeze lot. I hope that it will be released soon. I'm going to upload some additional photo's of the Ocean Breeze lot here.

In the meantime I have been learning to make wallpaper and I have been really enjoying it! I've always used other artists wallpaper in my homes to this point!

Several little patio's off each side of the house.
&#60;img src=&#34;http://isc.thesimsresource.com/images/misc/blogImages_6105.jpg&#34; /&#62;
Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. There are two small entertainment area's for the children/or roommates. Rooftop decks as well, including one over the waterfall.
&#60;img src=&#34;http://isc.thesimsresource.com/images/misc/blogImages_6106.jpg&#34; /&#62;
I have put the Nursery next to the master bedroom on the main level for obvious reasons. If you don't have a baby, you can turn it into a sitting room for the master bedroom. The Nursery is also in close proximity to the Kitchen and a bathroom.
