I seem to be struggling to build at the moment. I must admit that since Sims 3 was released, I just can't seem to build anymore. I've tried building in Sims 3, but I miss my Stoneyville walls... Even Sims 2 is hard to build for, now that I've completed the Stoneyville Estate maps. I think I may have to go play & see if that helps. Hopefully playing the TSR Challenges for Sims 2 will inspire something new.

To celebrate completing the final map for Stoneyville Estate, each map in the series will be rotated through the free list for one week.

• Map 1   - July 1 to July 8
• Map 2   - July 9 to July 16
• Map 3   - July 17 to July 24
• Map 4   - July 25 to August 1
• Map 5   - August 2 to August 9
• Map 6   - August 10 to August 17
• Map 7   - NEW - To be released this month, so won't appear on the Free list until November 22
• Map 8   - Only requires Stoneyville Town Square
• Map 9   - August 18 to August 25
• Map 10 - August 26 to September 2
• Map 11 - September 3 to September 10
• Map 12 - September 11 to September 18
• Map 13 - September 19 to September 26
• Map 14 - September 27 to October 4
• Map 15 - October 5 to October 12
• Map 16 - October 13 to October 20
• Map 17 - October 21 to October 28
• Map 18 - October 29 to November 5
• Map 19 - November 6 to November13
• Map 20 - November14 to November21
• Map 7   - November 22 to November 29

Note: Stoneyville Estate (the base neighbourhood) & Stoneyville Town Square (Map 8) are both on the Free list at all times

I'm planning to continue expanding Stoneyville as I still have so many ideas & I will also be creating a few new Neighbourhoods, which will use the maps in different configurations. It will also mean that I'll have some "country" maps that I can build on.

I do plan on creating Stoneyville lots for the Sims 3, but until some EPs come out with more building tools, I will just be creating them for the Sims 2.

I bought a bottle of Cat Nip spray today to dose Sammy's toys so he'd enjoy playing with them. The poor thing has been playing like a madman & has just crashed out on the couch... but I swear that's a smile on his face... you decide!

Picked up my copy of the Sims 3 yesterday. Had a play last night & I must say the game is cool! I loved being able to walk my sim across the road to the beach or to the pond for some fishing after work.

The only thing I was disappointed with so far, is not being able to follow my sim onto a community lots where they enter a building. I feel stranded being stuck outside, but then watching them "work" might be a bit frustrarting (being out of control).

It's certainly different to build a house in & it sure is going to take some getting used to, but I'm enjoying the challenge... bring on the unlimited simoleon cheats for my sim to upgrade their cabin to a palace!

I'm still planning to create Stoneyville lots, but this is the last map I will be publishing - unless of course I create another neighbourhood & make Map 21 flat! I still have loads I'd like to create.... like a Furniture Store, Country Club, High School, Sorority, Fraternity, Dean's House, Lighthouse etc... so who knows.

I have Sims 3 on order & I'm planning to create for Sims 3 as well. I'd love to keep Stoneyville going, so I'll just wait & see what it's like when it arrives & once we have the tools to share the lots.

Life will certainly never be the same now that Sammy is here. He discovered my peg bucket the other day, so now I find pegs all over the place! He knicks them, plays till he's bored & then goes & fetches another one. I could tell he'd been on my computer desk this morning. My speakers were tipped over & there was a peg beside one of them....

On the cute & adorable side, he's getting along great with my Maltese Terrier Harmony.. or Mooky as we call her... don't ask me why....

Sammy is the latest addition to the family. He's a Siamese cat & is just 8 weeks old. Within 48 hours he's well & truly made a place for himself in our lives. He's already using his litter tray & has even worked out how to climb onto the bed, so he can sleep with us every night. He "talks" all the time - especially when he's in the litter tray, or wants to eat or needs some affection... in fact he "talks" more than I do which is no mean feat . He's certainly livened up the place & I don't know how we ever lived without him!!!

Ah... it's so nice to be back creating again. I seem to have a bit of an obsession with creating new Neighbourhoods at the moment, so please bear with me.

Stoneyville Estate is coming along nicely. Map 10 is nearly finished with a Museum under construction. After that there's just one more lot to build & that map will be complete. There won't be a Map 8 as the only thing on it will be the "Stoneyville Town Square", so just plonk it down in the centre & map 8 is done!

I also have a new Mountain lot on the way - just a little cozy cabin for you to enjoy & I'm also toying with making Stoneyville University as a series of maps... hence the neighbourhood creating!

Thanks to everyone for all the lovely comments on my last Blog. I'd rather regret going, than to have not experienced a trip away with Terry. If nothing else we've proved we can be together 24 hours a day without getting sick of each other... or killing each other!

Arrived back today... the trip was just awful & I'm so glad to be home.

We rented an onsite caravan & the double bed turned out to be two small singles (Terry is 6ft tall & broad shouldered so his back is killing him), the gas bottle was empty... so no gas cooking, the sink was blocked... so Terry had to unblock it with a plunger.... & to top it all off, the park owner was an arrogant jerk, so we came home early.

It's so good to be home!
