This is chapter 3 of my Secrets of a Socialite series. You should read the first two chapters before this one. The second chapter has a link to the sites I download custom content from.

Now on with the story.... Madison arrived to campus safetly. She choose a college hours and hours away from her parents. She knew they could hop on a plane anytime they wanted to see her, but atleast it will be a little bit hard for them. When she walked around the campus she was amazed, "It is beautiful here! If it looks this good outside, I cant wait to see my dorm!" She thought. She got to her room and was a bit shocked. "This isnt what I expected," Madison whined. The walls were a horrible brown, the bed and desk were very old and cheap, and the carpet was stained. This was not what Madison was use to. "Good thing Dad gave me some emeregency money!" Madison changed her clothes and redid her hair & makeup. She wanted to look her best when it was time to meet her dormmates. No one else had arrived yet so she walked down to the campus store. This was the first time Madison had been shopping alone. And to be honest, she was'nt feeling very secure. She spent her whole life in a bubble. She wasnt sure how to do the things most people do. She started to get very nervous about meeting her dormmates. Madison went back to the dorm and met her first dorm mate. "Hi!" He said, "I am Amin. What is your name?" Suddenly Madison felt very nervous and shy. She could feel her face getting warm and red, "Hi, I'm Madison, " she said softly. Then Madison knew making friends was going to be difficult for her, she had no experience. "Well, I have to get to class, but if you ever need me you know where my room is." Amin winked. Madison felt a bit creeped out by this guy. She wasnt sure how to respond so she smiled a little and went to her room to unpack. Madison's first day wasn't going as she planed. Everyone had already formed little groups and Madison was feeling left out. The girl's in her dorm were mean and wouldnt give her a chance. Madison went back to her room. She felt so dissipointed and lonely. She tried to hold back tears, but they started to pour out. Suddenly she heard a knock on her door, she grabbed a tissue and scrubbed her makeup off. "Come in," she blubbered. "Hey! A bunch of us ar..wait, is something wrong?" She stranger asked. Madison denied anything being wrong. "well, would you like to get some coffee?" Madison and her new friend went down to the campus coffee shop. "I forgot to introduce myself! My name is Hailey!" Madison felt very comfortable with her new friend. They sipped coffee and chatted for a few hours. Madison was feeling a lot better about college and wasnt so sad anymore. Madison's first day of college didnt go as planned, but the few weeks following were very good. She declared her major in psychology, she made several friends in her classes, and was happy not living at home. Madison and Hailey got along great, but the other two girls were still really mean to her. Madison just put up with it, she was use to it from her mom. The girls would tease her, play pranks on her, and whisper about her. One night Madison was walking back from store to the dorm. Tina saw her and threw Madison into the fountain! When Madison finally got up she saw Tina laughing. This was the final straw. Madison was sick of people pushing her around, she was going to stick up for herself. She got out of the water, went up to Tina and slapped her in the face. Soon everyone came running out of the dorm and other buildings close by. Everyone thought of Madison as shy and quiet, they were shocked to see her in a fight! Madison was very proud of herself...until she heard police sirens. The polce officer gave them a long lecture and explained the rules of the dorm. Since Madison hit Tina first, Madison had to leave the dorm. Madison didnt care, she was actually happy. She hated living with these women. Madison went up to her room to pack up her things, but then it occured to her, "Where am I going to live now?!"
Madison shouldn't have spent her emergency money on room decor.
