One evening, as all The Sims Resource Featured Artists dutifully sat down at their respective computers to create more wondrous items for the community, they each found a white envelope upon their computer desks and to the left of their monitors. Just a white parcel with 5 words made up from letters cut out from magazines:
FEATURED ARTIST,
THE SIMS RESOURCE
No one knew where it came from. No one realised the significance.

One evening, as all The Sims Resource Featured Artists dutifully sat down at their respective computers to create more wondrous items for the community, they each found a white envelope upon their computer desks and to the left of their monitors. Just a white parcel with 5 words made up from letters cut out from magazines:
FEATURED ARTIST,
THE SIMS RESOURCE
No one knew where it came from. No one realised the significance. They each wrote a post in the FA forums and it soon became clear that everyone had received one. Everyone had received one, yet oddly, no one had opened it.
And odder still, though it went completely unnoticed, was that they were all, for the first time in TSR?s history, online at the same time.
The revelation that all had received a parcel, of course, brought a flurry of angst and worry from the team and pretty soon the forum erupted into hysteria. Blame was being placed on admin, admin blamed FAs, moderators blamed Steve. It was mayhem.
Suddenly their PCs inexplicably closed down! They each stared at their monitors, wondering what had happened, when there was a slight rumbling noise, which appeared to be coming from their monitors. Each of their computer desks began to tremble. The vibration became fiercer and all of them jumped away from their desks. The shaking became more violent. Pencils started rolling off the surfaces, books and disks were shaken loose and thrown to the floor.
They all stared in astonishment as the tremors seemed to be emitting from the parcel. Their eyes widened in amazement as the letters on the parcel began to be shaken loose form their original positions and move about the surface of the envelope. They were all rooted to the spot in fear. They wanted to escape but none could move. New words were formed from the letters upon the envelope. It now read:
DEAR FA,
TRUST TIME
SHE IS OUR SECRET Abruptly the shaking stopped. They all stared at the parcel.

Then at that moment, there was a blinding light and a loud, piercing scream none had experienced before. Their rooms filled with light. Terrified, they covered their eyes and ears to shield them from this sensory overload. They were not aware that their surroundings were slowly changing, for they still shielded their eyes and their ears, but their worlds were different somehow. The screaming was dying down to a whisper. The light was subsiding.

?Is that a waterfall, I hear?? They slowly uncovered their eyes and ears and found they were in a strange world; strange yet familiar. They knew it was a world they had seen before (was it in a dream?), but they had not lived in. A couple of them passed out in shock. ?Domini Kra? asked one FA.
?Soonsoon.? Came the reply.
A few explored this new territory, walking around gazing upon the new sights and brilliant colours. Some found other people living here and engaged in conversation and although they were speaking an entirely different language, they understood perfectly what each was saying. Yea, it was different. But it was... natural... somehow.
They were wearing clothes they didn?t buy. The air smelt funny. Warm. Electrical! Like the inside of one's computer (!).
Their skin looked different. Felt different. It was brighter and cleaner. Fresher. Blemish-free. And there was a calmness and stillness in this new world that none recognised and they felt secure.
Their world was changed (perhaps forever (and perhaps for the better))! but they were all of them at peace.
They were in a world without space and time. They knew they had come home?
