Hey last part!! I've been working on a sequel, I'm spending more time on it so it will be better than the first one. I've nearly finished the first part to the sequel, so tell me if you want me to post it, or if I should end the story with this part.

"Here, I'll just get these for you" she said as she bent down and picked the books on the coffee table. "Katie's been researching for a project" she told us with a smile. I heard a commotion in the kitchen, clanging pots. "I'll be right back" she said and rushed off to the kitchen. "She looks a lot like you" Michael smiled, breaking the extremely awkward silence. Then 'mum' wow it feel weird saying that, well she came back in the room and sat down. "Sorry about that, Katie and I have been baking all morning, now I didn't catch your name and may I ask why you're here?" "My name's Nicole....I'm..your daughter." I stated blunty. "Rick, my father, doesn't know I'm here" Well come to think of it he probably does...oh well that's what I told her. She just sat there staring past me, she didn't say anything. She just sat there not speaking a word. There was a long and awkward silence, as I waited for her answer. "I'll let you two...catch up" Michael said as he rose from the couch. "Take your time, I'll be in the car" he told me as he kissed me on the forehead and headed out the door. I couldn't help but smile, as I watched him leave. "You shouldn't have come here" she stated after a few minutes of silence. What was I meant to say to that? I'm sorry I'll just go now? Alright don't worry about me I'm just your daughter? I was off on a thinking for a few minutes, she waited for my answer, but I realised there was nothing to say back to her. She gave me a funny look. "Well what do you want me to say to that? Why shouldn't I have come?" I asked confused....and slightly...slightly upset. I tried not to show it though.
 "You should go, my husband's going to be home soon, he won't be happy to see you here" "I'm your daughter! I didn't come here to be tossed aside" I told her trying my best not to cry. "What did you think was going to happen when you came here?" She said starting to get angry...she also looked a bit worried.... "I...I don't know, I don't know what I expected" "Why do you think I left Nicole? Why do you think I never kept in contact? I want nothing to do with your no good father! I want nothing to do with YOU!! I have my own life now, I have a loving husband, and I already have a perfect daughter! I don't need nor want YOU!" she paused for a moment. "You should leave." "Fine. You..uhh don't have to worry about me being in your life, I'm going. I won't come back" I tried as hard as I could to keep from crying as I got up off the couch. "I'll let myself out" As soon as I walked out the door, I couldn't help it, I burst into tears. I was trying to not let it get to me, but I tried without success. As soon as Michael saw me, he jumped out of his car and ran over. "Hey it's alright" he said calmly. "What happened?"
"She....said...she didn'twantanythingtodowithme" I said rather fast.
"It's alright Nicole, you don't need her, how long have you been without her? What makes you think you need her now? You've got me" he smiled. "Do you want to go home now?"
"Yeah, let's go" I said as I wiped my tears from my cheek. He kept his arm around me as we walked to the car. He stopped and opened the car door for me and we headed off....back home. After a few days, the trip back was kind of the same as the way up, I think that was mostly because we stayed in all the same places. But we finally arrived back home. I couldn't beleive how home sick I really was, I missed the farm, and the horses. But most of all my dad. "Dad! I'm home!!" he came running from the kitchen. "Nicole!!" I ran up to him, and gave him the biggest hug I could! "I missed you so much!"
"Not as much as I missed you" he told me back. We stayed hugging for hmm probably about 5 minutes. While Michael just stood silently at the door, waiting for someone to notice he was there. "Oh dad, this is Michael" I smiled. "Michael, thanks for bringing her home, and keeping her safe" he said as he shook Michael's hand. And pulled Michael in for a hug. "Well you're practically family now" dad said, I knew what he was going to say next, I tried to stop him bye waving my arms and mouthing NO!! But dad smiled and said it anyway.
"So...when's the wedding?" Michael and I both laughed nervously. "Dad!! We're too young to get married!!"
 "What?" he asked so innocently. "It was just a joke, can't you take a joke? Michael, you can take a joke?"
"Yes sir" he smiled, as he turned around and looked at me. ~The End~

    Sorry if this last part didn't live up to all of your expectations, I tried to make it as good as I could with the free time I've had. But I've been having family dramas at the hospital, nothing too serious. But it's taken up most of my past week. Anyway I hope you enjoyed this chapter, and let me know if you want me to post the sequel\;\)
