Thanx for reading part 2, don't forget to rate and comment! Dawson looked all around the beach trying to find something they could use as shelter. All the things he thought of using, always involved something they didn't have. He knew if Rachael came back with food and water, and he had nothing, he'd be in trouble. So he started looking around for some stones and firewood. When Rachael returned carrying fish and a bucket of water. Dawson was still trying to light his fire with the rocks. He succeeded to light the fire before it got dark, and surprisingly cold. "So what was it like for you? Life I mean before the crash?" Dawson asked.
"Stressfull"
Dawson laughed "Why?"
"I was a bumbling secretary for a dragon lady, whilst trying to save money for my two-year old daughter.
"Daughter?"
"Yeah, she's living with my parents, until I can get my money together and buy a small place and take care of her myself"
Dawson hesitated before asking "Where's her father?"
"He was a deadbeat, bailed the day I told him I was pregnant" Wanting to change the subject as quickly as possible.
"What about you? What was your life like?" Rachael questioned. "I used to work with marine life, mainly the seals and otters"
"Seals and otters?"
"Yep, they were my whole life, well them and Penny of course, who'd always come to work and help out anyway she can" Dawson said throwing another fish Rachael caught on the fire. Off in the distance was an odd rustling in the bushes. Penny was the first to hear it and was running off to investigate before Dawson could stop her.
"What was that?" Rachael whispered.
"Wait here, I'll be right back" and Rachael watched Dawson disappear into the dark forest of trees. "Dawson?" Rachael whispered. But not getting any answer raised her voice slightly louder. "Dawson??" Rachael didn't hear anything. She was starting to get really worried and she was no longer whispering "DAWSON!!?!" She yelled but there was no answer.....
