Thanx for....going to read my new story! Well it's kind of new, it's a continuation of my previous story Road to Greater Things. But you don't have to have read Road to Greater Things to get this story ;)

But you don't have to have read Road to Greater Things to get this story ;) "Oh look who's coming, I haven't seen her in a while" I looked up hoping to see Rachael, but instead I saw Kate. "There's a certain guitarist that is missing from practice"
"Oh I forgot sorry" someone caught my eye. It was Rachael with my sister, but Kate snapped me back to reality.
"Come on" Kate said and grabbed me by the arm
"Do you mind if I take him?" She asked my dad.
"Nope go ahead" he replied. So she dragged me by the arm to band practice. Band practice was finally over, Kate was a good friend but she can go a bit overboard at times with her music and everything. I closed my eyes for a few seconds and then was interrupted.
"Hello?" I got up and turned around. It was Rachael. "I just wanted to come up to tell you...." "I love you Max....Max...Max" "Max Wake UP!!!" I opened my eyes. "Woaaaahhhhhaaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhh!" I was disappointed Rachael kissing me was all just a dream.
"Hey Kate how are you?" I asked as I pulled myself off the floor. "Meh, I'm fine I came over to see if you wanted to come to Luke's Diner? Me and Adam are going there to finish off some homework, and it's just not the same without you" She smiled.
"Yeah sure I'll be there"
"Do you want to see if your sister wants to come?"
"......Yeah I'll tell her, we'll meet you there in 15 minutes"
"Cool seeya there" She hugged me and left. I walked inside to see if Lana wanted to come, to find that Rachael was still here.
"Hey" I said rather nervously as I sat down. "We're going to Luke's for studying I think do you want to come?"
"Who?" They both asked at once.
"Well uhhh both of you?"
"Sure!" "I'm sorry Rachael I just remembered I'm supposed to be meeting Jake at the bowling alley, you too will have to go in without me"
I gulped. Then Lana left me and Rachael
"If you don't want me to come in---"
"No It's fine" I butted in "Let's go" "Hey you made it!" Kate announced enthusastically. "And you brought Rachael....." Her voice trailed off.
"If you want me to leave I'd understand" she said sweetly.
"Oh would you?" Rachael's heart sank.
"Kate!!"
"I was kidding" she said sarcastically. "It's alright.....I'll just leave" "It's alright you can stay I invited you" I told her. "I was just joking we'd love for you to stay you'll just have to put up with my strange sense of humour" Kate laughed at Rachael's nervousness. "I actually should be going anyway seeya all later" Rachael smiled and left.
 "It couldn't be more obvious that you like her" Adam laughed. "Well if it's so obvious why hasn't she said anything!" I asked confused.
"Maybe because of Justin, you know her boyfriend" Kate hinted.
We had a huge longer discussion about Rachael and everything, I was focussed on the subject so much that I didn't notice the guy sitting behind me in the black suit listening to our conversation.....
