Manly Man Wallpaper

Posted On Jul 19, 2008 | Click here to comment

Just uploaded a couple of sets of new wallpaper. The "Manly Man" sets are just perfect for a masculine den or library. I plan to do some recolors of furniture to match the new wallpapers.

Also added a set of neutral colored walls both for interior and exteriors. Hope ya'll find them useful!

New Low Cost Living Room Set

Posted On Jul 07, 2008 | Click here to comment

Just finished a new living room set featuring my absolute favorite nasturtium flower and vine wallpaper. It's a big bold pattern, so it was a little tricky not letting the whole room get overwhelming. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out...especially the sofa that looks oh-so-comfy. The set comes with three carpets and four walls so you can mix and match to get the right balance of pattern and color for your Sims. Should be out in a few days.

Retro Rules!

I'm sure enjoying Retro week here on TSR. Of course it's all Retro all the time, here on my mini-site :) Coming soon are two beds with antique quilts and matching sheets, pillow shams, and recolored head boards. Also a classic fifites formica table set in sunny yellow. Too fun!

I just caught a Hawaiian bug too...no not a rare flu, but a need to create things in the Hawaiian style! Just built a home with a big lanai, integrated pool, and open, breezy style. As I work on it, I'll be creating matching decor, so watch for some tropical themes (with a retro flair), here soon!

Robes, plaid and comfy

Posted On Jun 29, 2008 | Click here to comment

Just uploaded recolors of the bathrobe included in the Kitchen & Bath stuff pack. I particularly like the brown plaid men's robe as it reminds me of my father's robe from the early 1960s.

I also just built a mobile home...a replica of the one that we live in. Just have to get some images and then will upload it. I'd like to get some bales of straw made to put around the base of the trailer like we do to help insulate in the winter (I know, we are hillbillies!)

Also have a few ideas for athletic wear and sundresses which I may tackle this weekend.

If you have a minute, LMK what your favorite colors are in my new poll. Thanks for stopping by!

New rugs on the way

Posted On Jun 23, 2008 | Click here to comment

My dear S.O. fixed my power supply problem so I'm back online! Just uploaded 20 new rug recolors ranging from antique hooked rugs to contemporary geometrics. I have another dozen or so to upload, so we all will have our rug fix!

It's been awhile since I actually played the game. I have a challenge in mind for the build a lot forum, so maybe I'll issue it and then just go build and play for awhile :)

Hope you all are having a nice summer!

Arrgggghhh!!!

Just finished a whole batch of new rug recolors (blues, pinks, hooked rugs, antique flora and fauna). I was getting ready to upload them, but my battery light (I work on a laptop). Kept coming on. The cord that plugs into the back of the computer has gone kaput...wire must've frayed right at the plug (where it bends all the time). So until I get a new power supply or my SO fixes it, the uploads will have to wait. Wahhhh!

Running out of juice, so will see you soon.

Dog Collars Anyone?

I've had a request for a Canadian flag dog collar. Anyone else have a particular country flag they'd like made into a dog collar? LMK :)

You asked for it...rugs!

Rugs are the most popular item in my latest poll, so I've just completed two sets...one of Victorian rugs and one of Southwestern style rugs. A nice variety of colors and patterns are in these sets which are recolors of the Isotopia rug from Freetime. Hope you enjoy them!

The Cherry Kitchen

I'm not sure what possessed me to do a room. It took ages...first to figure out just what I wanted to do, then to pick the pieces and recolor them. And then recolor again. And again. I finally got the combination of reds I was looking for. Finally, uploading a room (and giving all the detail about where to find the recolors, what EPs are needed) took forever. That said, I hope folks enjoy it!
