It was Conrad's idea to throw a formal-dress party, and everyone liked the idea. Alexae was okay with it as long as we didn't spend too much money.

It was Conrad's idea to throw a formal-dress party, and everyone liked the idea. Alexae was okay with it as long as we didn't spend too much money. Conrad called the caterer. Now that the food was taken care of, it was time for everyone to get dressed. Here's the girls first. Alexae picked something simple, yet pretty. Joni's not really a girly-girl, so she just picked a nice shirt and a skirt. Princess, of course, picked something very elegant. Princess taunted Joni for picking such "plain" clothes for a fancy party, but Joni just ignored her. Now, for the boys. Conrad picked a classy black tuxedo. Poncho picked a nice shirt and a pair of shorts to wear. Wizard looked spiffy in a shirt and tie and pants! I told Conrad that I didn't know what to wear since this was my first formal party with the DeLaye family. He told me to just dress up nice and I'd be okay. I decided to wear a suit and tie, and a lot of my family agreed that I looked nice. They gave me some of the confidence I needed! Alexae told Suki and Saki to get dressed up for the party, but they didn't listen. As soon as everything was ready, Conrad called people to come to the party. Then Alexae, who didn't know that Conrad had already called people, called more people to come to the party. Then Joni, being the most playful one out of the bunch and who knew that both Conrad and Alexae had already called people, called even MORE people to come to the party. Princess invited more people so she could have more people to admire her. Not too long after the party started, Drew Carey showed up! To Conrad's and Alexae's confusion, a lot of people showed up at the party. Joni talked to Tiffany Burb. The kitchen got crowded, and the caterer already needed to fill the buffet table up again after only a little while into the party. Suki and Saki didn't care much about the party as long as they could watch TV. People liked Gunther Goth's singing. Wizard wondered how he could improve the speed and fuel efficiency of Drew Carey's limo. With all those people around, I got shy and nervous, but Conrad told me that I should get out there and talk to guests, like the one next to us. Some of the guests clapped politely as over-confident Princess sang a song. Joni played volleyball with some of the guests. Alexae didn't have much fun because she tried to talk to all the guests and didn't relax. One time, we heard, "Who rented this???!!!" I don't know who rented the DJ booth, but someone did, and Alexae wasn't happy about it, because it probably cost a lot to rent it. As I became used to all the people, I felt a lot less shyer and nervous. I even talked to a guest while watching TV. Even though the party wasn't over yet, Alexae started to clean up. Even when it got really late, some of the guests were still there. Princess tried to attract listeners when no one was listening to her sing. As the party died down, Wizard read a book. Alexae was already stressed out, but she got even MORE stressed out when the dishwasher broke. Right after the party, Conrad and Poncho helped clean up. Later on, Conrad told Alexae that she shouldn't stress out about everything and that she should enjoy herself. When Conrad asked me if I liked the party, I told him that I hope we'll have more parties in the future!
