Dear readers! Since I deleted (by accident) the second part of Lifestock here's a quick glance back at last episode.
Socks, one of the Cooper cats is being the main target of the Coopers newest addition to their household: Spitz Spitz, a female cat, a very rare breed of Moroccan origin is lovingly been adopted by the Coopers: Frank and Veronique. Spitz had followed Frank home after he went downtown to buy more grub for their 2 cats, Smart and Socks and dog Silly. Spitz is the strange looking cat with the pointy ears and the foxtail in the petstore. The previous owner, Princess Nashira from Morocco was leaving town and decided to sell her cat to the highest bidder. FredBrenny's petstore, open 24-7.
Frank and Veronique were absolutely not aware of what was going on in their pets lifes. But, back to today! Smart was not happy at all about how things were going at this moment. "Here I am outside, while Spitz is trying to wind her butt into MY territory. Just LOOK at her!" "Ladidadida....Need to look SHARP!" Socks didn't care too much for the catfight that was going on. As long as it didn't get fysical. It was just way beneath him. Smart was not letting Spitz out of her sight. Not for a minute! "Yo Socks, I don't want to bud in, but how's things with the lady friends?" "I've got everything under control Sil. It's Spitz, she's different. Got some temper. I kinda like that in a woman!" Unfortunately Smart overheard that conversation. "Got to think of a strategy here girlfriend! Just make him happy before the other one does...ya know what I mean?" "Think so Silly? Never thought it would come to this." "Heheheh...Smart...I'll beat you to it...wanna bet? I can spot a mile away what's on your dirty little mind. Eat my dust bunny butt." "Look Socks...My impersonation of Carl Coyote...Mep Mep...Hey...wanna play? Come on I'll show you something!" Socks is not impressed. Hmm...Spitz, be smart(er). "Do you know what's going on with them animals sweetheart? They act kinda strange lately." "Goodnight Socks, see you tomorrow." "Night Smart. It was a real hectic day was'nt it? Need something before you turn in?" "Left alone eh? Come here Spitz, Momma's got a treat for you. It's all new to you here...aww...you just have to find your place and befriend all the others. Things will be fine in a couple of days, don't you worry!" That morning Smart was feeling like she was sitting on top of the world. Socks cuddled up to her last night and he was really sweet and even licked her face! "Listen Veron, I'll take Silly downtown later. Need anything from the store hon? We need more chow as well. See if I run into that Moroccan lady again. Hope she didn't leave yet. Guess she wouldn't since she didn't sell her cat." "Hiya Socks...Silly...All sleep well? Me too, thanks for asking. Oh...as you see, I left you some breakfast. ..you're welcome..." How to find a way into that man's heart....Spitz had some major thinking to do today. "Come on Sil, let's go girl!" Silly alway hoped she would run into that hunk of a dog downtown, so she loves to come! The lapdog is back! Think they brought it inside somewhere the other day. It was getting colder here in Strangetown. "Oh hi! I was hoping I'd see you again! Nobody cares to buy my cat here, but I saw her follow you home last week. Would you mind taking care of her while I'm gone? I will pay you ofcourse! She's too precious. I couldn't leave before I knew where she went and would be fine!" "Hi there yourself! I was hoping to see you too! You're cat is just fine at our place. I'll give you my card. Give us a call when you return!" Bart Bender, one of the townies overheard them talking. Now, a real Moroccan special breed cat is what he had always wanted! Hmmm... "Hi neighbour, we haven't been introduced properly but I'm Bart! I specialize in rare cat breeds. If you ever have a question, don't hesitate to call me. I overheard you talking to princess Nashira just now. I do live across the street you know? So...don't be a stranger ya hear? Any questions...remember to call Bart!" Hope he's buying it. I WANT that cat! After some weeks things seemed to go pretty good. allthough neither Frank or Veronique got the jobs they wanted. That night in the bathroom: "Baby...Maybe...uh...you know, now is the time. We were talking about trying for a baby. Now is the time!" But this very important moment was disturbed by: "Shhh...I hear someting...." "Baby! Come out here! It is Smart!" What in the world...? "Aww....aren't you the cutest. Aww.." Two babies to take care of. Maybe Frank and Veronique should just wait a little with having babies of their own... Sheba and Mau. Veronique decided she was going to bake a cake tomorrow to celebrate! "You...dirty devil you..."
Spitz was almost thinking it out loud. But THAT would not be a wise thing to do. Time to make big plans! (to be continued)
