True Blood faces and outfit

I have become addicted to the new HBO show True Blood, based on the Southern Vampire novels by Charlaine Harris. As with my other tv addictions, I felt the need to have some of the cast in my Sims game. I have just uploaded faces for Bill and Sookie, plus a skin of Sookie's waitress uniform from Merlotte's Bar & Grill. If there are other True Blood characters you would like to see made into Sims, please feel free to comment here or send me a PM.

Halloween Joinable Statues

This is a big project so it will probably take me a couple of weeks to complete. I may release these in two groups, one each week though. I'll have to see how much I have done at the end of the week. Anyhoo, once again using the joinable bases from Lost Sims, I will be making a number of Halloween-themed statues. I am using various Maxis skins for this -- the Grim Reaper, the Mad Scientist skin from LL, the zombie skins from LL, many of the Magic Town NPCs, and so on. Previews will be posted as I go.

Since my children started the new school year this past week, I have been inspired to make some children's skins. Some will be based on stuff in my daughter's closet, others will be based on vintage Skipper doll outfits. I only have a couple of children in my game, which is why I don't make children's skins that often. Stay tuned for some previews.

Summertime Fun Objects

Ready for upload are a few summer fun objects. Have you ever wished that your Sims could play with the sandcastles they build on Vacation? Well, now they can. I have taken the sand castle graphics and applied them to a cloned dollhouse. Both adults and children can finally have some fun while playing in the sand. These have been visitor-enabled so they can be used at home or in the Downtown/Vacation/Old Town areas. There are 3 sand castles and 2 piles of sand.

I want to thank everyone who voted in the Pale Skins poll. Because of your votes, I will now be including the pale skintone with the skins I submit.
I have added a new poll that concerns houses -- whether you prefer the houses you download to be furnished or unfurnished. I'm never sure when creating houses if I should furnish them or not. So please vote in the poll so I know the feelings of the downloaders out there. Thank you.

Vacation time

Just letting you all know that I will be gone for the next week. We are taking a family vacation for the 4th of July holiday weekend. From there, we are going to spend the following week in Minnesota for our annual family get-together with my parents and sisters and their families. I should be back around the 12th or 13th. During the next week, I will be checking in occasionally when I have time and can get access to a computer. When I get back I'll start working on some new skins, but I'll post a new entry for that.
