For the September 2006 FA Theme Week -- Posh Sims. Frederique van der Wal is a Dutch supermodel, best-known for gracing the pages of Sports Illustrated, Cosmopolitan, and Victoria's Secret. Frederique has appeared on hundreds of magazine covers, and in hundreds of catalogs, too, and she has also done runway and other fashion modeling. Frederique was
hired by "Victoria's Secret" in the 1980s, when it was a very young women's lingerie company. She and American Stephanie Seymour quickly became the two All-Star models for
"Victoria's Secret" and helped lead it to its position of international prominence.
