New Avatar
Posted On Apr 23, 2007 | Click here to comment
I decided it was time to make a new Avatar. I was really use to the one I had and I used it for a long time now, but I needed a change. This is my interpretation of ME as a Sim...So I thought I would use it. I am not a good Sim creator but I did my best!
I know it is kind of hard to get use to seeing a new Avy but I am sure it won't take you too long.
I hope you like it! Usually I prefer no changes with things but this was long over due!!
Thanks to all that write/PM/sign guestbook/comment and leave me such nice complements, I appreciate all of it!
Thanks for downloading my Sims creations!
All the best, Linda :)
Our New Forum Threads!
Posted On Mar 26, 2007 | 1 Comments
This is really exciting, being able to correspond with everyone who wants to visit me! This is a great new feature that TSR has provided for us and the community so we can come together and get to know one another.
The threads will provide a way that we can even get more feedback, receive suggestions, dislikes and all around conversations and corresponding with each other!
I can only speak for myself and not all FAs but in my personal thread, I am open to ideas, suggestions, likes, dislikes and what I can or not do in order to improve my lots/creations.
I have done requests before (if possible) and I am open to ideas. Sometimes getting requests can pile up, but I do like to know what people are interested in. So this thread is the best place to do that.
Well maybe I will see ya there! The link directly to my thread can be found on the left hand side of my minisite right below the nice FA Community Logo made by Tug and Dot! Just click on the words, "My Forum Thread" under the Logo and it will directly take you to my personal thread.
Thanks to all who have downloaded and enjoyed my creations! Looking forward to all suggestions, ideas you might have....
Take care and enjoy life!

New Series, What do you think?
Posted On Dec 21, 2006 | 18 Comments
I have decided to start a series of "small" lots. Almost like a starter but not really. They are called,
"Garage With Living Space"..... I have seen them and I thought they would be excellent for the
Man or Woman starting out. There is a 1 or 2 car garage for their car (so they can go to work)..and
above the garage is the living space! They have 1 - 2 bedrooms with kit/dine/living and bath..And a nice size yard.
The way I see it, you start out with a single man/woman and they live here and work and when they meet someone, there is still room enough for the 2 of them. Most have 2 car garages. And then save and add on..(just like real life)..Maybe add a nursery in the future..Now if your Sim gets a nice paying job, they can build an even bigger house next to the garage! And keep this for quests....
The name for the series will be called "GLS", (Garage Living Space) and there will be approx. 10..
See pic for an example..
Any comments as to this being a bad or good idea is very much welcomed...
What do you want in Lots?
Posted On Jul 03, 2006 | 38 Comments
I would love to have TSR do surveys on What People Prefer in lots but until then, I will do my own..
Please take time and leave me a comment with some suggestions and answers to a few questions:::
1. What size lot do you prefer?
2. Furnished or non-furnished?
3. Modern or country/victorian?
4. Big house or moderate?
5. Alot of X-tra items to download?
6. garage?
7. Basement?
8. How many floors?
9. Multi Levels?
10. Certain Price Range?
Or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Just leave a comment to let me know What you Prefer....
I quess I am a bit CURIOUS as to what people look for in a lot for their favorite Sim Families.....
Thanks in advance for taking the time to do this....

Sim Sized Dollhouses
Posted On May 08, 2006 | 3 Comments
I was trying to figure out what to do for the next FA Theme Week. So I thought I would try a dollhouse but make it for my sims.
All went well, they are just like a regular house in front but in back, there is no back. Well there is no back of the house. This is what makes it a dollhouse!! So all you have to do is just situate yourself right in the back at a good angle and watch!! You can see everything that is going on....
Oh yes, I did find some things that are off a bit but I wrote them in the Installation Instructions.. There were too many words to put it just in the description.. So please read the "Installation Instructions" even though there is no specific way to install this lot. It installs just like all the others...I am going to copy and paste just what I put in the instructions..I just want to try and make sure that who ever downloads my dollhouses knows what to expect...So please enjoy them. I have a couple more coming but truthfully I wanted to wait and see just how they were going to go over with the community..
Wow, what a treat for me, I thought of something that no one else did..Hmmm or did I???
Enjoy and thanks so much for downloading and playing my lots and creations! And thanks to gatomurphy, jsf, maylynn55, TSRAA and myself for the walls/floors that I used in all of my dollhouses.
/Linda
Here is a copy of the instructions on the dollhouses...Please Read!
I have tested it over and over again and naturally the only room which really needs all 4 walls is the bathroom. But here is a couple of minor things that happen with an open backed Doll House::
Cons:::
Neighbors come right on in.
Sims know what is going on in all the rooms..(so watch out for jealousy)
You need moveobjects on to place ceiling lights/burglar alarm
Pros:::
They do not fall off the edge:: lol
And rain does not come in.. lol
You can fix yourself right in the back and just sit there and watch all sims at one time..
(Like a peeping Tom)
None of these are really mis-haps or affects the game play...You can always just add a back wall if you prefer it that way...
It will also help to have "hide objects" set to "off" so all the floors are visible. This can be found in your game settings on the game console.
Thanks for downloading my lot! Enjoy it! Linda

My House Samantha

After uploading and submitting this house, I came across a problem with the pool ladder. Sims will not get out of the pool. I have placed the ladder too close to the shrubs by the house..Just remove the shrubs and add tile..Or move the ladder over..Sorry for this but It just didn't seem like there would be something wrong with the pool so I over looked it......
I have included a picture to show that they get out fine if the shrubs are not in the way...
Sorry

Absolutely Love Winter

I just absolutely adore winter in Pennsylvania. You just really don't know what is around the corner..LOL
We did not have a white Xmas, as a matter of fact we are having a heat wave right now. Today it hit 52 degrees. But it won't last for long, we are more than likely going to get a blast sometime or another. But we did have a nice snow about 1 1/2 weeks ago..
So this is what I saw when I looked out my Front door and up the road..It is snowing so hard that you can't even see the mountains in the background..I live at the foothills of the range of mountains...

And now this is what I saw when I looked out my back door..

Being a Featured Artist
Posted On Dec 16, 2005 | Click here to comment
I became a Featured Artist on Sept. 1st, 2005 and have been loving it ever since. I started creating lots back when TS2 first came out. I have played The Sims 1 since they came out in 2000 but never created and submitted here at TSR. I was basically an addict to downloading objects/lots/walls/floors back then. I have been a member of TSR since 2000.
So creating and sharing with everyone here at TSR is what makes me happy. I must say though, I have got to find more time for playing! I haven't even played a University/Nightlife lot yet..Except for the testing of my own lots before submitting them.
Thanks for all of your support and downloading of my creations. I really appreciate it all! Have a wonderful Holiday and a Safe and Healthy New Year. May we all prosper in the up coming year!
