I just needed a break from the community. Shame things had to get so ugly and annoying for me to need a vacation. Of course it's all still going on, but I'm ignoring it for now. I'm not sure how much creating I'll do in the future. I've decided to turn my back on Aspyr and go with my Windows version of the game. I have everything and plan to get the next stuff pack because FINALLY they made one a builder will love. Sheesh. Took long enough. No comment on how many EPs it took to get our beloved spiral stairs back. Ahem. I can't wait to dive back in and get some simmies started. I'm working on setting up my hood. I'm too anal and I can't stand the premade stuff. So, I spend a lot of time setting up my own. It's worth it though. Everything isn't borked and everyone isn't ugly. ROFL I still have my own sims forum, Beyond Sims. It's more than sims. Most of it is sims, but there are other categories and interests expressed there as well. It's a great switch from sims but it's also renewed a bit of the creator in me. I've been doing both and my funtime has been a lot more interesting. Macs are missing all the good stuff and I'm not going to wait to catch up. I have it all on my Mac, I'm going to play it. When Macs do catch up, if ever, I'll return to my preferred platform. This effects the forum too, Sims2 Soapbox. We've recently had a huge fallout with our host. We got little warning that they were transferring us from one server to a new one. We were down almost a week, which was suspicious. After much poking and prodding, rhiamom, my associate, finally got word from the host that somehow our files went bye bye. Oops. Gosh. How did that happen do you suppose? Needless to say, we're with a new host now and Cat and SuSims will undergo a complete makeover, CMS update, the works. We're back up for now but look for big changes in the future. I'm quite excited. I thought I should say something about my site, Cat and SuSims. This effects the forum too, Sims2 Soapbox.
