I wanted to mention, that for some time now, I've been using a slightly different method for including CC (custom content) with my newer lots, and it’s been working really well. For anyone not familiar with it, I'm including the CC in a separate folder, in the .zip file (along with the lot .sims2pack), rather than including CC in the .sims2pack itself. By downloading the lot as the .zip file, (green arrow), extract the CC to your Downloads folder, before installing the lot, using either the Maxis default installer or Clean Installer. Any lots requiring this method with always have the instructions in the "Installation Instructions".
