Description
This lot is based off of one of four cities briefly mentioned in Irish mythology: the 4 Cities of the Treasures of the Tuatha de Danann. The People of Danu (the Irish pantheon of gods) arrived in Ireland long ago, bringing with them 4 treasures. The Lia Fail (Stone of Destiny), the Coronation Stone of Tara, was said to cry out when the rightful High King of Ireland were to put his foot upon it. After the hero Cuchulainn, son of Tuatha de Danann god Lugh, split the rock with his sword when it failed to cry out the Lia Fail forever remained silent, except for one last time when it cried out for Conn of 100 Battles. This magical stone was said to have come from the city of Falias, located somewhere in the north. This lot is named after that city, but mine is more of a village refuge for your more pagan oriented sims, complete with outhouses for those private moments, a town marketplace, public tavetn, library, butcher's shop, smithies, graveyard, and best of all...a megalithic monument to the gods!

I think this is going to be the last leg of my pagan creations for a while; I'm horrifically behind with other themes I wanted to work on during the fall, so maybe next spring if I'm still around (alive, pfft) I'll continue more Celtic mythology creations. Stay tuned!
