Are your gardens drab and boring? Are your rose bushes unruly? Do your daisies keep popping up in random places? This guide helps you to better landscape your home, and helps set you on the right direction to making the neighbors jealous! Contains images with items from all EP’s and SP’s and some CC, though the idea is still the same regardless of what EP’s and SP’s you have or which version (Sims1 or Sims2).

I will be putting all the information in the tutorials that I have acquired from The Sims Resource to full use in helping with my ideas for neighborhoods and lots. And in the near future hope to be able to share my creations with others in the Simmingverse.

I love your ideas. I had been using some of them (e.g. dirt under plants to look like a proper bed) but my gardens always felt disjointed. Thanks for the good ideas - especially quality and symmetry - I will definitely try to make better gardens from now on.

I can say this is rather useful for designing houses. It also helps when trying to make a place look tasteful but without chewing off your system resources. A very handy guide.

Great tutorial!!. I love all pictures that show what you're talking about. Plus I had always had problems decorating my ponds to make them more realistic. They always looked boxy. Maybe I try to be too strict and I usually made each side exactly the same without any kind of random placement as nature does. Anyway, this tutorial really taught me alot and I want to thank you for writing such an easy to follow tutorial. It was clear and concise. Thanks again
