Tanner Hall

Over the past week I've received a lot of inquires regarding the status of the Tanner Hall set. I have fixed the issues with the set and it will be back up and available for download on Friday, July 4th. If you previously downloaded the set, please redownload as all of the files have been revised. New files will overwrite the old ones. Collection file has also been updated. There is still a slight issue with the sideboard. The metal ring handles on the front doors of the sideboard still bleed through onto the back; this was an issue before and remains an issue now. I have spent much time trying to resolve this issue, but I have been unsuccessful. Obviously, if you place the sideboard against a wall as intended, this is not really a problem. I am going to continue to try to figure this problem out and if I am able to finally resolve it, the sideboard will be updated again.
Away for a bit - updates

I am leaving on Sunday to attend a conference for work therefore I will not be around to respond to any messages or reply to any comments until the following week. I have a recolor of Shino & KCR’s fabulous Bali set that I am going to upload before I leave.
Happy Simming!

I will be away again this week; I've been asked to aid in the design and development of a new training system for my company and I just could not say no (lol). I have a recolored set that was completed before I left and I am going to attempt to get the pics taken, photoshopped and uploaded in the next few days. :) However, the internet connection in my hotel room is not the greatest, so we'll see.
Walker Dining set back up

The Walker Dining Set will be back up and available for download on Tues. 6-17-08. All items have been revised, so if you downloaded the set before, please re-download. New files will overwrite the old ones. I have removed the cabinet from this set, there was something odd with the back panel that I was unable to fix. Also, the polys on the chair have been reduced slightly, although the chair itself is still somewhat high.
The Tanner Hall Set is going to take me a bit longer to fix because a) I'm leaving this evening for a week and b) the texture map on the sideboard is giving me problems that I haven't quite figured out yet. The issues with the Dylan and Walker sets where easy to fix, but the Tanner set is going to take some more time. ;)
Dylan Dining Set back up

I have managed to fix the Dylan Dining set and it will be back up for download on Sunday 6-15-08. If you downloaded the set previously, please re-download again as all of the files have been changed. There was an issue with the shadows that has been fixed. I have also changed the textures on all of the items and reduced the polys on some of the items. I didn't like the wood texture that I originally used and therefore it has been replaced with a nicer wood texture. All of the new files will overwrite the old ones.
Awaiting the arrival of a new system

The hubby and I are laptop people and as those of you that use laptops know full well that they are basically disposable. Every two years he and I usually get new ones - I get awesome discounts from my university!
Anyway, it's that time again. I currently have a Dell XPS M1210 with a 2GHz processor, 2GB ram, 160 GB HD, and a 256MB Nvidia 7400 card. Not too shabby and it's only a year and a half old. However I am graduating tomorrow with my Master's degree in I-O psych (finally!) and alas my awesome student discount will be no more. Therefore I am taking full advantage once again (hey, I save like $500 bucks!!). My laptop now is good, but I can't run all the EPs with all of the other software I have installed for work. I had to uninstalled Pets and I never even considered buying FT, because the poor 'ole girl just can't handle it (lol).
Anyway, I have on order a Dell Product Red XPS M1530 (yes, I am fond of both Dell and the XPS series), 2.4 GHz, 4GB ram, 320 GB HD, and 256MB Nvidia 8600 card! Not too shabby in my opinion for a laptop. I’m not to crazy about the 256MB Nvidia card, I would have preferred a 512MB card, but that was the highest that I could upgrade to on this model. I love the Product Red series of electronics, not only is red my favorite color but a portion of the sell goes to a good cause. Shipping estimates put my new goodie leaving Dell around the 30th, so I’ll probably have it the first week of July.
I just thought I would share here, because aside from my hubby, there is no one else that can better understand the joys of a new system better than those in the Sims community.
Here is a pretty, pretty picture of the new goodie. Obviously not mine, but the look is the same.
My meshes.....

I have pulled all of my meshes for downloading due to some issues with them. I plan to work on these problems over the coming weeks and will re-upload them once the problems have been corrected. I have a lot going on in RL right now, so it is going to take me a bit longer than I would like to resolve the problems.
