I envy you Steve, I wish I had a chance to be at the Sims 3 convention.  It sounded great, tennis court court, spa, etc. (according to other posts) and the abiliity to play Sims 3, which in my opinion is better.  I hope you can go over your notes in more detail, I'd like a full preview of everything if you can make one.  Good Luck.

Don't know if you got time to find out, but as all the sims age as one, do they marry and have kids without your interference or do you have to step in and control that part? (in simple terms do they marry and have kids while your playing another family??)

I honestly don't know how you walked away after playing the game, I would probably slipped a CD into my socks

Can you please add pets and seasons to the original game!  I know you are leaving room for expansion packs but these are really popular functions that I think all players would agree should be part of the basic game!  And I would like garages and lockable doors too.

I'm so excited for the Sims 3! I've already pre-ordered my copy! There's going to be so many new and exciting things.
