Carlotta has just become a widow for the second time and she is already looking for a new lover. She took her maiden name back after William’s death and has vowed to keep it to honor her Monet relatives, so any future mates will have to take her last name.

Her marriage to Howie, a Rich Sim, and the inheritances she and her children got from Howie and William have left her with all the wealth a reasonable Sim could want. But, you guessed it; Carlotta is far from your average reasonable Sim and will never have enough money, or romance. She has recently decided that she needs to know more about fashion and culture in order to widen her base of possible lovers, or future rich husbands, or even a new plot for the bestselling novel she plans to write someday.

In her quest for more money Carlotta rented the loft of her home to a pair of brothers who have recently moved into town and are still looking for their own little spots of paradise.
