You're tutorial is great. I really want to do my own creating some day. One question though, where do I get SimPE and what version? I have no experience with graphics arts except touching up pictures and photos with the Paint Shop Pro 3 I got about 10 years ago. I know its ancient. Thanks

Great tutorial and very easy to follow & understand. I do have a question or two though. When you were talking about importing a "grunge brush" followed by a link to it. What I was wondering was, would that particular brush work with Paint.net or Gimp? You see, I'm not able to purchase a Photoshop program because they are pretty pricey, but I'd still like to try my hand at recoloring a counter (For practice). What would be your suggestion?
Anyway, Thanks for sharing this tutorial, I can't wait to try it out.

Hey Kris,
does this come with texturing two different parts of an object like I want?
