Description
As the eldest daughter of Edward IV, Elizabeth of York was rightfully England's first Queen Regnant after the death of her father and the mysterious disappearances of her brothers. However, after she secured Henry Tudor's promise of marriage, Elizabeth waived her right to rule in her own right and submitted contentedly as Queen Consort. One interesting note, Elizabeth's image has flurished, portrayed on every deck of cards as the Queen of Hearts thanks to Henry VII.
