TSRAA: Yes
PLEASE read the INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS! If you don't follow the instructions properly, the stairs won't show in your game. Warning: these stairs really ARE invisible, so please use with care! Great for 'stealth stairs' techniques. TSRAA.

Installation Instructions:
TO INSTALL THE INVISIBLE MODULAR STAIRS...
(1) Place the stairs file in your 'Downloads' folder as usual.
(2) Find where you originally installed The Sims 2 game (not the expansion packs) and look for the folder TSDataResCatalogScripts (see picture). It is usually in THIS location:
C:Program FilesEA GAMESThe Sims 2TSDataResCatalogScripts
(3) Open the file 'modularStairs.txt' and find an empty space at the bottom of the page. DO NOT change or erase any text already on this page!
(4) Copy and paste the block of text below into a SPACE at the bottom of the file (see picture):
# cyclonesue_stairs_Invisible
modularStairs 590
objectID landing 0x0015D72B
objectID placeholder 0x0015D72A
objectID step 0x0015D72C
objectID topStep 0x0015D729
objectID bottomStep 0x0015D727
catalogTextIndex 6
(5) Save and close the text file.

And that's it! The invisible stairs should now show in your stairs catalog as a BLANK ICON. More details about installing modular stairs can be found here at this forum. Have fun!
