Hi NomiLu, no it won't cause any problems. It can just slow your game down. If you use that mesh in a small lot or on sims wearing low-poly stuff it won't even slow your game. So just have fun.
And don't be alarmed If the mesh is flashing blue when you enter your lot, go to the mirror and click 'change appearance', the necklace/bracelet will look fine
