TSRAA: Yes

This is just a small collection of post-war items I made for the game. The set includes an old bakelite radio, marigold herbs potted in an old mug, and an old leather war diary with a feather bookmark for extra effect. I may make more items for the set if the mood takes me. Download and enjoy.

Odd I should see this now. A few months ago I went up to visit my own grandfather who was a ww2 vet.  I think he was surprised that I (at my age) was playing games.  I decided to make a small home with what ever could pass for that era and even dressesd the family as close as I could to the period. I sat down next to him with my laptop and brought up the house and family.  He just looked so amazed.  Not only amazed at the technology, but that it was in a way something he could relate to.  Rather than "now what is that nonsense"   LOL,he wanted to see how it all worked and even how I had created it. It must have brought back memories, because he began to tell me some of them. This radio just reminded me of that day.  I  will surely grab this.  Small thing, but it was a way to bring him back to a time he missed, and did it in a way that was so realistic that I almost think he would have loved to find a way to compress that sims house and put in a little box.   He said it was like walking through the past, literally. It's amazing how this game affects people in so many ways.
