This used to be a Funhouse, but now it's full of evil clowns....
--P!nk, Funhouse (2008)
As pretty as it may be, something's just not...right....with this house. Pay VERY close attention to the details as your Sim wanders the echoing halls, for even the walls and the furniture bear the faces of the restless souls of the dearly departed....

Inspired mostly by the 1999 and 1963 horror movies, The Haunting (both based on the 1959 novel The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson), I designed this Hill House's external look after Ettington Hotel in Warwickshire, England which the 1963 movie used as the set. I used a few rooms I particularly liked in the 1999 version, which used Harlaxton College in Lincolnshire, England as its set, for the interior. The lot includes 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 3 extra bathing spaces available, with large EIK, several spacious parlors, a grand foyer and Great Hall, and a frontal garden.
