Careers & Skills

  • For Home Businesses, be sure to lock doors to family members only to keep Employees out of your refrigerators and beds!
  • Any one business can only earn 10 of the possible 25 business perks. To earn more, a Sim must own more than one business.
  • Long lines to pay can be relieved by opening another register. Any Sims after the first two in line will automatically go to the new register.
  • Use the 'For Sale Tool' on a display to change the price of all items displayed on it.
  • Using the phone to check in on a rank 10 business takes just 15 Sim minutes, while a rank 1 business can take 4 hours!

Food

  • Gelatine takes no preparation time and is therfor a good item to sell in a food business.
  • Chinese food and Pizza, if unopened, can be sold on business Lots.

Death

  • Sim's who die from 'Death by Rally Forth' have a white ghost which carries a megaphone!

Gameplay

  • Elevators can break during use (either in normal use or for WooHoo), and will crash to the floor. This can be fatal for Sims!
  • Snapdragon Bouquet's boost all of the needs of a Sim viewing them. Great for placing in shops to boost customer buying potential! When broken however, they reduce needs!
  • With OFB, Lots can now be renamed using the new button on the Neighborhood view Lot information box.
