"Yes? Adam replied. "I want to say thank you, for looking after me..." Eliza told him as she watched him wash the dirty plates. "It's ok," Adam smiled back.
"This can't be easy for you," Eliza replied, "And and I really appreciate all you do for me."
"You're my wife..." Adam replied softly, "I would do anything for you." "I know," Eliza smiled, "I hope I will get my memory back." She looked away and sighed as Adam assured her,
"You will Eliza, you will." A few weeks later, Adam and Eliza finally moved into their new and bigger home. Eliza was bonding again with the children and she stood with Daisy and admired her new house. She cuddled her daughter and felt content. Eliza's one wish was that she could remember Adam. Adam had even asked Ethan for some help with Eliza getting her memory back. "There is nothing I can do, you just need to hope for the best," Ethan replied. "Ok," Adam said resigning himself to the fact that nothing could be done. Adam was sad but kept this from Eliza. Eliza loved their new home and they spent time talking about it. It gave them something to talk about. However, Adam was finding it diffiicult and frustrating to not be affection to his wife. He looked away and pondered for a moment about what he was to do next. "Are you ok?" Eliza asked soflty and Adam shook his head. "I'm sorry but I can't resist..." Adam said. Then he kissed her softly, for the first time in months. Eliza felt her body tingle and her senses respond to him. She looked away confused, and Adam was embarassed. "I have to go..." Adam replied sadly, "I will be back soon." Adam left the house to clear his head. Then Eliza had her epiphany. Adam stood on the beach where he had proposed to Eliza a few years before. He couldn't believe how things had changed. Now Eliza didn't know who he was. "Adam?" Eliza called from behind him and caught his attention. He turned to face her. "You kissed me...and I remembered everything," Eliza said grabbing his hand. "You do?"Adam said shocked. "I was a vampire who fell in love with a human. With a man who worshipped the ground I walked on and would do anything for me. But I had horrible friends who caused us so much hurt and problems. So I went against what you said and took the cure for vampirism and that's where are today," Eliza said excited at remembering the past.
"I'm back Adam," Eliza smiled happily, "I remember it all, our wedding day, the birth of Daisy and Edward, every touch and time we made love...I could never forget you."
Adam was in tears and Eliza was jumping up and down. "Your kiss helped me to remember," Eliza beamed. And with that she kissed Adam gently. After that they held one another for ages and the world passed them by. Eliza was back and their life could begin again. They were complete.
