Hello everyone, here's part 13! :)

A huge thanks to everyone who have read and commented on my stories and I hope you'll like this part :)

Sorry for mistakes!
I was quite proud of myself when I found the right house without asking for help or getting lost. I smiled slightly. Pleasantview with it's quiet streets and friendly people was starting to feel like home. I took a deep breath when I got closer to the door. I felt excited and nervous. And worried. So many thoughts and questions were swirling in my mind. I was afraid that my uncle would only confirm everything that I had heard about my mother. She had abandoned me, that was a fact. I wasn't sure about the rest of the things. I rang the doorbell and waited, listening to my loud heartbeats. Greg came to open the door and I smiled politely.
He looked friendly, just like I remembered from the first and only time I'd seen him. Good, I thought. A wicked uncle was not what I needed right now.
"Audrey, welcome!" Greg said and we shook hands. "I'm so glad you decided to come. Does your father...know...you're here?" "Yes, I told him. He doesn't mind," I replied, thinking about the conversation I had had with my father earlier. Dad had been surprisingly understanding.
"I hope so," Greg nodded. "Come, I want you to meet my family. They're all so excited," he said and smiled.
I followed him. The house looked rather small but it was nice and cozy.
A woman was preparing dinner in the kitchen, humming to herself.
"Marisa."
The woman turned to look at Greg and smiled when she noticed I was standing there with him. I smiled back.
"Audrey, this is Marisa, my wife," Greg told me.
The woman put the salad bowl aside and came to greet me.
"It's so nice to finally meet you, Audrey."
"Nice to meet you, too," I replied.
"We are all so happy you decided to come. I've heard so much about you," Marisa said and I wished I could say the same about her. But it wasn't my fault that I couldn't. I had found out I had an uncle only yesterday...
"The dinner will be ready in about 15 minutes," Marisa said, looking at me.
"Annie can't wait to meet her," she then told Greg.
"I know," Greg agreed. "Come, Audrey."
"Jason and Annie are outside, they were swimming."
I followed Greg to the little back yard.
"She's here, she's here! Audrey is here!" the little girl shouted excitedly and ran to hug me. She was soaking wet. I laughed, surprised by her overwhelming joy.
"Annie, let her go, Audrey will get wet like that," Greg lectured her daughter, but his voice was friendly.
"Sorry," the girl apologized and let go of me. She skipped happily to her father.
"Don't mind my sister, she's always like that," Jason then said. "Hi."
"Hi, Jason." Though I had met him at school, it was the first time we actually spoke. Except this one phone call today, of course.
"Have you ever had a wind up toy? Annie is like that. Wind her up in the morning and she'll keep jumping up and down 'till her bed time," he laughed.
"Dad!" Annie complained, "Did you hear what Jason said?"
"I did. He's just joking, dear," Greg replied, trying not to laugh.
"Erm...So, cousins, hah?" Jason asked, changing the subject.
"Yeah...funny, isn't it?"
"Yeah...You know, I wanted to tell you at school but I didn't know how to do it. 'Hi, I'm Jason and I'm your cousin' would have been kind of weird."
"Yes, 'I'm Greg and I'm your uncle' was much better," I agreed and we both started to laugh.
"The dinner is not ready yet, so maybe Jason and Annie will show you the house?" Greg offered.
"Sure," Jason agreed. "Come, Audrey."
"Well, as you see, the house is not very big. That's the living room, that's my parent's bedroom back there and I'm sure you already saw the kitchen."
I nodded.
"I will go change my clothes!" Annie called out, running past us and up the stairs. Jason and I soon followed her. "Will you come to see my room, please-please, Audrey?" The girl had already changed her clothes and was almost begging me now.
Jason was right. Annie was exactly like a human version of a wind up toy, but her enthusiasm wasn't annoying. I liked her. She reminded me of Irene.
"Sure, why not. Where is it?"
Jason went to change his clothes and Annie dragged me to her small room.
"Blue is my favourite colour," she announced.
"Yes I can see that," I said, looking around in the room. I noticed a pet poster on the wall and told Annie about Cookie.
"Really? You've got a guinea pig? We have fish. And a dog, his name is Boss. Did you see him?"
"Not yet," I replied as I watched Annie climbing on her bed. She started jumping. Up and down. A wind up toy. I giggled. Jason was making bed when we got to his room. It seemed that he had been busy cleaning up while I was with Annie. "Look, Audrey, Jason has a Tika-Taka in his room!" Annie pointed at a huge scary sculpture that stood next to the door.
"You yourself are a Tika-Taka, Annie," Jason said, pretending to be hurt by his sister's words. "It's Tiki Idol and horrible things will happen to you if you won't leave my room right now!"
"I'm so afraid," Annie replied, not sounding scared at all.
I laughed. I was having fun with Jason and Annie, something I hadn't expected from tonight.
"Let's go, I guess the dinner is ready by now," Jason said and we headed downstairs.
He was right. The table was set and Greg and Marisa were waiting for us. Seeing our happy faces, my uncle looked happy, too. "Go on, take a seat, Audrey," Marisa told me. "I hope you like chef salad."
"Mom can't cook," Annie whispered to me. I hoped the others didn't hear her.
"I love it," I said and nodded to assure my words.
"Take a seat," Marisa told me again and smiled.
I realized I was the only one still standing.
I sat next to Annie and looked at my newly found relatives. They were so nice. I was sure it was going to be a great evening.

This is surprinsigly short, you usually write chapters of 40-50 screenshots \;\), but it might mean that you stopped right before something interesting, so I can't wait for the next chapter \:D

Hi Kalisa! I really don't know how I could miss your story! \:\(  It's true, I had family over and perhaps that could be the reason. I really thought that I had cought up with all the written stories. \:\)  Today I just was thinking that it had been a long time since the last time I heard of you so I went directly to your site and I find the last chapter of this story. \:wub\:
It's continues being interesting and I love the way how her family welcomed her. I only expected that she would learn more about her mother. Perhaps in the next chapter? Hugs ~ Margo

Enjoyed reading your whole story. \:\) Cannot wait for the next installment. I read your Back To Pleasantview Intro of the new version and I enjoyed that too. At the beginning of your story, her ponytail hair was a distraction to me for some reason but now I really like it. I'll probably hunt down that hair and start using it regularly. I'm gonna check out some more of your stories. \:D
