Sorry for the mistakes, just ignore them if you can :) Sofia came back from Morocco for the wedding. I wanted her to be my bridesmaid, so she just had to be here. I was so happy to see her again. It had been a year since I last saw my sister. I introduced her to Ben, I was glad they finally met. Sofi approved him :P My sister had so much to tell us. Actually everyone had something to talk about, so much had happened. As Sofi arrived 2 weeks before the wedding, we could spend some time together before I got married. Just the two of us, as it used to be when we were younger. She helped me a lot in this stressful time. I don't know what I would have done without my Sofia. Finally the special day arrived
"Are you ready, Mia. Are you feeling very nervous?" Sofia asked me in the morning when I woke up. "Good morning to you, too" I laughed. "I'm fine, just a bit nervous, but I quess that's normal..."
"Yes sure!" Sofia said. "Let's get you dressed now!" "Ohh, darling, you are so, so beautiful" my mom said when she saw me in the wedding dress. "I can't believe my little girl is getting married."
Yes, I really was her little girl, I was the youngest in my family and the first to get married. We had chosen a small beautiful chuch for the ceremony. All the guests arrived... And Ben...he just took my breath away... "I Benjamin affirm my love to you, Maria as I invite you to share my life. You are the most beautiful, smart and generous person I have ever known, and I promise always to respect you. With kindness, unselfishness and trust, I will work by your side to create a wonderful life together." "I take you Maria to be my lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward." He made me cry...But it was my turn then... "Ben, I love you. Today I give myself to you in marriage. I promise to encourage and inspire you, to laugh with you, and to comfort you in times of sorrow and struggle. I promise to love you in good times and in bad, when life seems easy and when it seems hard, when our love is simple, and when it is an effort. I promise to cherish you, and to always hold you in highest regard." "These things I give to you today, and all the days of our life." ... - "You may kiss the bride!" - Now the most difficult and most important part of the wedding was over. We were married. All my relatives were looking so happy... Little Matty had learned one new word - 'Conglattttu'! He's so sweet. It was time to cut the wedding cake and get the party started... ... Although some guests couldn't come, the most important people to me were there... My lovely grandparents - Dina and Thomas... Daddy... Mom... Aunt Christine Simon and Mathias... Sarah...She told me I looked like a princess... Sofia and Aaron... (Sarah wants to be on the picture, LOL!) I was so, so, so happy... ... Me and Ben, together forever... I love him... I hope we'll have many children as cute as Mathias...heheh... ... I had the most perfect wedding day... On the same evening we went on the honeymoons. We arrived to a beautiful hotel on Twikii Island. "Ben, this place is prefect!" I said and kissed my husband. Ben got a room for us... This hotel even had a private beach...I loved it! The weather was so good, water was so warm...And I was married! Life couldn't get any better! There were so many places to visit on the island that Ben and I got a bit confused and couldn't decide where to go... Finally we decided to just start from somewhere and visit all the places, one by one. I wanted to learn the fire dance, so one local man agreed to teach me... It was much more difficult than I first imagined, but practice makes perfect, right? While I was trying to learn something new, my very mature husband was building a sand castle :P It got dark soon and the first day of our honeymoon was over... And the night...every minute of it was worth waiting... ... The next morning Ben and I wanted to have breakfast out somewhere, we ordered a dish called "Pineapple Surprise". I don't know how the chef prepared it, but it took very much time...I was so hungry! Well, the dish really deserved it's name, especially the 'surprise' part, because the plate was almost empty. Heheh. Later that day we visited ancient ruins, which are very famous on Twikii Island. I've heard from somewhere that if you make a wish there, it will come true. I thought it was worth trying. I wanted to have a baby... Ben and I both wanted it. Twikii Island really is a great place to relax... Or to go sightseeing... ...and take photographs... ...and there is an old pirate ship on the beach, all tourists can go and look around there... I wonder how it would feel to be a pirate? I guess I'll never know, but I don't mind. It's not the way I'd like to live my life... ...I mean...I like the ocean, but I prefer to live on land... Anyway, Ben and I really liked that old ship... Liked it a lot... Time flew by amazingly fast. Ben learned hot stone massage...I hope he'll start practicing it at home...on me, of course :) On some evenings we didn't go anywhere, we just stayed at our hotel room... ...and enjoyed our time together...Isn't that what all the newly-weds do? We were sunbathing by the ocean... I burned myself! And Ben got a nice tan...How unfair...Heheh... In the end of our honeymoon I had to see a doctor because I found something unpleasant while combing for the seashells... Days passed and soon it was our last evening on Twikii Island...I was a bit sad to leave, but I knew that a whole new life was waiting for me at home... Next morning we packed our bags... ...and it was time to return home...But I wasn't going to live with my parents anymore... Ben had a surprise for me... He had found out that his parent's old house was for sale and he had bought it before the weddings...As a wedding present for me, heheh... The house had been recently renovated, so it looked very good... It just needed furnishing and we could move in... Actually we already did move in, we can sleep on the floor for some days, it's not a problem... Right now it's just me and Ben, and we don't need much as long as we have each other...
