Thank you all so much for commenting on my previous stories and I hope you enjoy this one! "I'll be right back" Sofia said and went to open the door.
The sun was really cruel that day, it was good there was a place where to hide in the back yard. I was starting to feel tired although it wasn't late yet. I had had a long day already. When Sofia didn't return as fast as I had expected, I went to look for her. I was happy to find her talking to someone, who I assumed to be her future husband.
"So that's Eric" I thought and stood there, waiting for Sofia to introduce me. Meanwhile I overheard their conversation. "What took you so long, Eric? And why did you knock? Where are your keys?" Sofia asked.
"I do have my keys, but I couldn't open the door, I told someone I didn't live here" Eric explained. "There was a woman outside, right in front of the house, asking me if I had any children and saying all kind of strange things." he continued. "A beggar?" Sofia asked. "Yes, maybe...But she was somehow strange. I don't think she's Moroccan... She's blonde..." That's when it hit me! Violet! She's after me, after me and my little baby girl! I ran outside, I had to see her.
"Maria, where are you going???" I heard Sofia shouting. "Violet!" I said.
The woman didn't react, so I repeated the name. Still nothing. It wasn't her....
I have no idea what had got into me, it couldn't possibly be Violet. Violet wasn't interested in me or Isabel, and she was in jail. But after all this time she was still haunting me. This poor woman really was a beggar trying to feed her children. I gave her all the money I had in my pockets and asked her to go home to her kids. I was watching her walking away. I was so lucky, my life was great. If only these nightmares about Violet had stopped.
Then I went back inside. "Sofi, I'm sorry I ran out like that. For some reason I thought that woman was Violet..." I said to my confused sister. "It's Ok, Mia, I understand. She almost destroyed your life..." Sofi tried to comfort me.
"Look who woke up!" Eric came down from the second floor, holding my little daughter.
Isabel seemed to like him. "Sometimes I feel like I'm going crazy, Sofia...Violet will get out from the jail one day...What about Mathias then? I don't even want to think about that...I'm afraid of her..."
"Mia, don't worry...Maybe you should call Aaron. He will calm you down, believe me. Just call him" my sister advised.
 I thought it was a good idea. I needed to talk to my brother anyway, so I dialled his number. "Hi, Aaron...Yes, everything's fine here...How are you?...Great...And Isolde?...That's good..." "Actually I wanted to talk about Violet...Are you sure Matty is safe? I have nightmares about that woman all the time, today I even thought she's in Morocco...No, I don't think so..." "What?...Are you sure? What happened?" I couldn't believe what my brother had just told me.
"Food poisoning? Oh...I...I didn't know...I'm sorry, Aaron..." I can't really explain how I felt after this call... I took Isabel from the floor.
Eric and Sofia were looking at me, eyes full of questions. I had to tell them... "Violet is dead..."
