This is the 12th part of Maria's story!
Thank you all so much for reading and commenting on my previous stories! I started to love my new home from the moment I moved in...I was happy with Ben. Once I got my home furnished, my family came to house-warming party...Sofia was still here, too, and I was glad I could show her my new home before she went back to Morocco. My father said the house was a bit too big. Heheh. I didn't really agree with him, because it's not going to be just Ben and me forever. Generally everyone liked the house... Sofi and my mother wanted to learn hula dance, and even dad joined us. We had a lot of fun dancing...And I just couldn't stop laughing at my father... Sofia had to return to Morocco soon, she still had one more year to study before graduating... I was sad my sister was going to leave me again, but I tried not to show it. And she has promised to move back right after graduation party, so...One year is not that long time, right? I feel very lucky to have such a loving family... Some weeks after moving in Ben decided to find a job...He still had some of his father's money left after buying the house and everything, and he really didn't need a job, but, well, he's a man. Although I was still teaching my little ballerinas and sometimes helping my parents at the restaurant, and Ben was at work from 9 AM to 7 PM from Monday to Friday, we were trying to spend as much time together as possible... One day I got home before the afternoon and I was playing with Domino when I suddenly... ...felt sick...
"Could this really be?" I asked myself...I had been waiting for this morning sickness for so long... I couldn't decide wheter it was too soon to go to see the doctor or not. Actually I was quite sure I was pregnant, I just wanted someone to confirm me I really was... So I changed my clothes... Brushed my hair... And went... When I got back home, I was overjoyed and very, very pleased with myself. Ben and I were finally going to have a baby... I didn't know what to do with all the happiness so I started preparing dinner for my husband... I was sure Ben was going to be so happy...We had been trying for a baby since we got married... "He'll be home soon" I said to myself, set the table and ran upstairs to change my clothes...I wanted everything to be perfect... My heart started to beat faster when I heard him walking towards the door...I was so excited, I wanted to tell him so much that he was going to be a father...I wanted to shout! But I tried to stay calm and behave...Heheh... "Ben! You're home! I'm so happy to see you!" I said and leaped into his arms...
"I'm happy to see you, too, hun...What's up?" he laughed.
"The dinner is ready...I hope you're hungry...I cooked it all my myself!" I said proudly...I wasn't very good at cooking, I was still learning. That might happen when your parents own a restaurant and you never have to cook for yourself. "So...how was your day at work?" I asked Ben...
"Great! I think I might get promoted soon...And, by the way, the spagetti tastes really good!"
"Thanks..."
I was doing my best not to tell him yet, hoping he'd understand himself. "Hun, tell me already...What's this dinner about? Not that we couldn't have dinner together, but you're all dressed up and...Did something happed today?" Ben asked. "Well, Ben..." "We are going to have a baby!" "Maria!" he said and jumped up from the chair. "That's wonderful! I'm so happy..." Ben said and hugged me...
"Me too, darling...I love you." My parents were very excited about the news. Mom kept hugging everyone after finding out she was going to be a grandmother again...She was so happy for me and Ben...She hugged me at first, and then Ben, then dad, grandma and me again... Granny, as expected, started to tell the story about how she figured out my mom was expecting Aaron...I've heard that story a thousand times...Heheh... Talking about my brother...Aaron and Ben have become good friends recently and I'm really glad about that...Aaron hasn't had many friends since Violet left him alone with Mathias. And little Matty...I miss him and since we're not living together anymore I often take him for a walk or just go over to my parent's place to babysit him when Aaron needs to go somewhere. People who don't know us usually think Mathias is my son. Well, I couldn't love him more even if he was... My life was perfect... *5 months later* "Good morning, hunny...And good morning, Hannah or Scott!" Ben said and put his hand on my belly...
"Hannah or Scott? No, no, Ben...It's a girl. I know it..I'm sure of it!"
"Ok, so Hannah!"
"Isabel!"
"Hannah Isabel!"
"Hehe...Just Isabel!" I laughed...We had some disagreements about the baby's name.
"Ok, we'll see about that, love..." Ben said and smiled... "Ben...I'll go to babysit Mathias today...Aaron has a date!" "Really? That's great! So who is the lucky girl?"
"I don't know yet, I'll meet her today..."
"Good...I think Aaron needs to go out more." "Yes, I totally agree..." I said, "And, Ben...we really need to buy some things for the baby, we have nothing yet!"
"Maria, don't you think it's a bit early for that? We don't even know if it's a boy or girl..."
"It's a girl!"
"Hannah?"
"No, Isabel" I laughed... "Ok, I really have to go now for not to be late..." Ben said after finishing the breakfast. "Say bye-bye to daddy...Hannah!" Ben teased me.
"Have a nice day, Ben...See you in the evening..." I said and kissed my husband. After Ben went to work, I took a bubble bath and got myself ready to meet Aaron's date...I was happy my brother had met finally met someone, after all this time. "Let's go, Domino, Matty is waiting for us!" Everything still looked the same at my parent's house... "Hi, Mia...I'm so glad you could come!" my brother came to greet me, "I want to introduce you to someone!" "Maria...This is Isolde Pryma, Isolde, that's my sister Maria!"
"Nice to meet you, Isolde!" I said..."Have we met before? Your name seems to be so familiar..." "No, I don't think so..." Isolde said, "Oh, is that your dog?"
"Yes, his name is Domino!"
"I'm sad to say it but I'm allergic to dog's hair..." "I should take him outside maybe?" I asked...
 "No, Mia...actually we should be going anyway..." Aaron told me and turned to Isolde then..."Ready?" He asked.
"Yes" Isolde replied...
"Ok, so let's go...we'll be back after 8 o'clock...And thanks again, sis!"
"No problem...Have fun!" I said... "It was nice to meet you, Isolde..."
She seemed to be a nice girl. "Hey Mathias...What do you think about Isolde?" I asked my little nephew and tickled him.
"Isolde good!" Matty said and laughed... I thought that Matty might be hungry, so I took him to the kitchen... Suddenly I heard someone knocking on the door...
"Be a good boy, Matty, Mia doesn't like washing the walls, so please, food goes to mouth only, ok?"
 "I wonder what's wrong with the doorbell?" I said and went to open the door. I couldn't believe my eyes...It was Violet! She pushed herself inside before I could open the door. "V-v-v-Violet! What are you doing here?" I asked with a surprise...
"I heard that Aaron has a new girl!" she said very angrily.
I didn't know what to say...
Then Violet ran upstairs. "Violet! Wait! What are you doing?"
"I'm going to take my son...No Aaron's girlfriend can have him!"
 "What? Are out of you mind? You can't take Mathias away from us!"
"I can and I will! I'm his mother! Where is that little brat?" Now I got really angry at her...
"How dare you call him like that? You don't even know him! Mathias will have his 4th birthday soon and you never even phoned us to ask how he's doing! You left Aaron alone with a newborn!" "Oh please, I'm not going to let YOU lecture me! Where is that Mathias?" Violet shouted... After seeing that Matty isn't in his room, she started opening the doors of the other rooms... "Get out of my way! I'm his mother!" "You're just the woman who gave birth to him! It doesn't make you his mother!" "Why do you want him now, Violet? I'm not going to let you take him!" "YOU are not going to stop me!" Then she pushed me... I lost the balance and.... ...fell...Violet just stepped over me... I heard her taking Mathias from the kitchen...
"Miiiiiiiiiia!" the little one shouted... Then everything went black.
