Hello and welcome back to Maria's story!
This is the 17th chapter and we're in Morocco!
(How unfair it is that now there will be a new stuff pack with Moroccan things (which I don't have:P)...Why Morocco from all the countries in the world?...Why, why, why...LOL. I should have written my story a year later)

This is the 17th chapter and we're in Morocco!

I should have written my story a year later) "Hay Aladarissa 2, Rue 2" I said Sofia's address to the driver after getting into the taxi. The weather was really hot and Isabel was whining a bit, she hadn't slept a minute on the plane and was looking very tired after the long flight. 20 minutes later the taxi stopped in front of a beautiful house.
"Hay Aladarissa 2, Rue 2, madame" the driver said and patiently waited for me to pay him. I gave him 25 dirhams, took Isabel, said "shukran" and got out of the car. "Here we are, Bella. This is aunt Sofia's home" I said to my little girl.
"Sh-sh-shhh" Isabel tried to say something and pointed at the cats on the street...
"Yes, kitties..."
I wasn't really sure if that was the right place at all... "Maria! Isabel! You're here already!" I heard Sofia's voice and saw her running out from the house. So it still was the right house. "Sis, I'm so happy to see you!" Sofia ran to hug me, "How are you, Maria?"
"I'm fine, Sofi. I really missed you" I said, hugging my twin sister. "You're finally here, I can't believe it!" Sofia said and smiled. She was truly happy, and so was I. "So, let's go inside, my little niece is already going as I see" she laughed.
So this was her new house. Sofia's life was in Morocco now - her home, her fiancé... "I have so much to tell you, Maria...Do you want to see the house first? Or are you hungry?" "The lunch will be ready soon! And Eric! Ohh, I can't wait to hear what you think of him! He went to get some groceries, but he should be back soon..." Sofia was really enthusiastic. I did feel hungry and I wanted to meet Eric, but my little daughter needed attention at that moment, so I asked Sofia if Isabel could sleep a bit somewhere. "Yes, of course! Little Bella is tired? She can sleep upstairs..." Sofia told me. "I'll show you the room. We have no crib there right now, I hope it won't be a problem..." My sister said and took Isabel.
"It's ok, she can sleep on the bed, too" I said and followed them. "When will Benjamin come? With the others? He will come to the wedding, won't he?" Sofia wanted to know.
 "Of course he'll come, Sofia, how else? He just couldn't get days off from work, but yes, he'll come with mom and dad. I think they're all coming together..."
"Great!" Sofia said and suddenly remembered that she had something in the oven, so she ran downstairs. "Ok little one, it's time to take a nap" I took Isabel and changed her to her PJ's. I could see that she was really tired, although she had been very brave all morning trying to keep her eyes open. Everything was new and interesting for my little girl. "Sleep well, sweetheart, mommy will come to check on you soon" I said to my daughter and put her on the bed. She fell asleep as soon as she closed her little green eyes. I went back downstairs after that. "Sleeping already?" Sofia asked me.
"Yes"
"She's such a good girl, Maria. I'm glad everything's ok with her now, I know what it would have done to you if something had happened to Isabel." "Ahh, don't even remind me. Can you imagine, Mathias told me he had seen Violet. Although it's impossible, it still scared me." I told her.
"I bet it did. Ok, better let's change the subject. Are you still hungry?"
"Yess!" I laughed. "I'm sorry but you still have to wait some minutes. Eric should get home soon, too...Go on, sit," my sister told me and went to the kitchen. "Sofia, are you already nervous about the wedding party?" I asked.
"A bit" she shouted from the kitchen. "Well, there's still one week left" I said quietly more to myself than Sofia.
"The lunch is ready! I hope you still like salmon..." Sofi said with a question in her voice. "Nah, I was actually hoping you were cooking tajine. Or atleast cous-cous" I joked and we both started to laugh. The salmon tasted delicious. "I can't wait you to meet Eric. I really hope you will like him, Mia" "I'm sure I will. If he found the way to my sister's heart, I don't think there's any reason why I shouldn't like him. And even if I wouldn't like Eric, he'd be my brother-in-law anyway, wouldn't he?" I asked and smiled. "Hehe, yes, I'm afraid so" Sofia laughed, "I love him, Maria. But you know that your opinion is very important to me."
"Yes, I know that, Sofi. Don't worry, from everything that I've heard, Eric is the one for you and I'm happy you met him."
Sofia smiled. "I wonder where he is, he should be home already..." Sofia said after we had finished the lunch.
"Just call him, sis!" I laughed.
"Yes, you're right..." I followed Sofia to the living room and suddenly heard a 'mjew'. It was the same cat Isabel and I had seen outside.
"Hello, I guess you're living here!" I said to the cat and hugged her. I didn't know Sofia had a cat, but I should have known, my sister adores these little furry animals. "That's Musha, one of my cats. They're usually outside..." Sofia said when she saw me with the cat.
"One of your cats? How many you have then?" I was surprised.
"Only three" Sofia laughed. "She's cute. You never told me you had three cats" I was trying to sound disappointed, although I wasn't.
"I couldn't help myself, there are so many cats on the streets here, starving. I feel so sorry for them that I'd like to take all of them home. But Eric said that three cats are more than enough already"
"Heheh, I agree with him" I laughed. It was so typical to Sofia - ever since we lost Lucifer years ago she had been trying to save all the cats she could. Sofia phoned Eric and found out he was on his way already.
We decided to go to the little back yard of the house and wait for him there. "Sofi, I haven't even had time to ask you about the wedding. Where's the party going to be and do you need help with anything...Anything at all? That's why I'm here, sis." "Thank you, Maria, but everything is arranged already. I just want to spend time with you. Just you and me, like once. Well, and Isabel too, of course. Three girls, heheh" my sister said happily. "Exactly like we used to be, Sofia. I missed you so much" I told her.
"I missed you too, Mia. I really did. Come, let's sit there..." After talking for a while there was a knock on the door.
"Who might that be now? Eric? He should have keys..." Sofia said, " Hopefully that didn't wake Bella." "I'll be right back, Mia" To be continued...
