The thing I was most afraid of happened - Ella died...

The thing I was most afraid of happened - Ella died... "Angel, find Florence! Find my baby! Please..." was the last thing she said. Poor, poor Ella...I still can't believe she's gone. I buried Ella to her own garden...Birds will sing there for her... Now it's just me against the forest. I'd go searching for my family but I'm afraid to get lost...What if I won't find my way out? Could I find this house again then? I'm not sure... Oh, Ella. You were so kind, you were so good to me. There is no TV and no radio in that house. Nothing...Only the books kept me sane. I had just finished my dinner one evening when I heard something. -"Hello? Hello?!? Anybody there???"-
A human voice? Could that really be? Since Ella passed away... -"Hello?!? Anybody???-
There was a little boy outside! I couldn't believe it! "Hi!" I said, happy to have somebody to talk to, because Belle never talks back, I mean, Lucifer.
- "Uhh, you scared me! Can I come in?" "I'm lost!" "How did you get here, little boy? Where are your parents?"
- "I was playing outside and I followed one beautiful bird and then there were trees and trees and trees...I ran until it got dark...Then I saw the light from the window of this house. Do you live here?"
"Yes...Or actually, not really..." I answered.
- "Can you take me back home? Please???" "It's too late. We have to wait till the morning, Ok? Let's go inside. What's your name?"
- "Jeremy". "Sit down, Jeremy. I'll prepare you something for dinner..."
- "Are you here all alone? What is your name? You're nice."
"A cat named Lucifer is somewhere here, too. You can call me Angel...Do you like spagetti?" "There you go..."
- "Hmm...Smells yummy! I haven't eaten anything all day!"
"So it took you all day to get here?"
- "Yep, that's right. Who is buried outside? What's the time? Does your cat like spagetti?"
He asked so many questions...What a curious child. He's like my cousin...Emmmm...I think. "Wow, you sure are hungry..." I said. Jeremy ate all his food in about 20 seconds.
- "This spagetti is very good. My mommy can't cook at all!"
"Your parents must be very worried about you. You haven't got a cellphone to call them, have you?"
- "No"
I thought so.... "You know, Jeremy, I have to find my parents also. I don't know where they are. So we'll try to find a way out from this forest when the morning comes. Ok? But you'll have to help me. Maybe you'll recognize some places...
- "Alllllright...But there are just trees everywhere...Where can I sleep? I am very verrrry tired."
 - "Good night, Angel! You're nice. I thought I have to sleep in the forest under somekind of tree...It's great I found this house!"
"Good night, Jeremy. I'll wake you in the morning."
I couldn't believe how carefree he was. Wasn't he afraid? Didn't he miss his parents? Or maybe he really believed we'd just walk to his home the next morning? I wish it was that easy! - "What are you doing, Angel?" "Good morning, Jeremy. Look what I made for you." "A teddy bear! Thanks! What we have for breakfast?"
Children, children... I hid the bag of money behind the mirror. Not the best place, but as it's almost impossible to find this house, I think burglars won't bother coming here. Good bye, Ella. Thank you for everything. I WILL find Florence. I promise. "Ready?" I asked.
- "Ready."
"So let's go." I locked the door and we set off.
"Come, Belle!"
- "Who's Belle?" Jeremy asked.
"Sorry, I meant Lucifer. I don't know why I keep calling him Belle. Belle isn't a name for male cat!"
- "Yes I think it isn't. But my daddy once had a dog called Kitty. Strange, hah, Angel? So which way we go?"
... "Let's go this way!"
We walked for hours. - "Why you stopped, Angel?" Where are we?" " I don't know, Jeremy!"
- "WHAT? I thought you knew where we're going! I trusted you! Who named you Angel at all?"
" I'm sorry, Jeremy, but I don't know this forest any better than you do..."
- "We're lost because of YOU! It's your fault!"
"Jeremy..."
- "I'm not talking to you!"
"Fine!"
- "FINE!"
 I got really worried. I didn't want to spend night in this forest, not after all that Ella had told me...
- "I think I'll go that way!" Jeremy said..."Alone!" "Jeremy, wait! I'm sorry!" "It's better if we stayed together, don't you think so?"
- "OK. But I'm still not talking to you. And I will decide where to go! Where's Lucifer?" "I don't know. Haven't you seen him? He was here a moment ago!"
It was getting dark... - "Angel, look, there he is!"
"Good...I think we should make a fire, it's so dark already".
- "It's not allowed to make fire in the forest, don't you go to school?"
"Well, it's an emergency". "Hi Lucifer, I thought we lost you! I was so sad, yes I was..."
I just loved this cat! - "All these trees look the same!"
"I know, Jeremy. Come, it's warmer here!"
 - "I think my mommy is worried about me. I think she's crying. You know, I'm still small and could be eaten by hungry polar bears in the forest or something."
"There are no polar bears here, don't worry...Maybe something else, but definetly not polar bears. How old are you at all, Jeremy?"
- "Nine."
"You are 9 years old and think that polar bears live in the forest?"
- "Sure they do. Haven't you seen "Lost" ?
... "What is it, Lucifer? Come, Jeremy, it looks like he wants us to follow him" "Jeremy! We made it! There's a highway here!!! I can't believe it! We got out from that forest!" - "Yessss! We did it!" I was soo happy! "So which way now?" I asked. We decided to follow Lucifer...
