Welcome to my story, Staying Sane. This is chapter 1. A Meeting.

Thanks to all my custom creators on thesimsresource.com and thesims2 ! You guys ROCK! "Come on..come on..pick up!", I called into the phone desperately. The phone just kept ringing, ignoring me. "Where could they be?", I asked myself as I scanned the wallpaper around me and clutched the phone. I shouted in annoyance as I realized I had the reached their voicemail.
"Hey, Barbara and David Dono are not in at the moment but if you please leave a message and your number, we will get back to you as soon as possible. God bless you." "Hey mom, dad" I started as I reluctantly left a message. "Uhh..it's me Kandi. I just wanted to inform you that I..uhh..left the university this morning and I moved in with the house ..and uhh.. roommate offer I saw in the newspaper 2 months ago. Can you please..umm call when you get this message. Love ya and uh..bye!" Angry and frustrated from attempting to reach my parents the whole day with no success, I hung up and left to make a quick breakfast of whatever I could find in the fridge.
"I cant believe all this guy has is a nasty box of wholewheat cereal. I better start buying the groceries around here" I mumbled to myself as I tried to swallow the cereal. "Does it really taste that bad?", a voice cut into my complaints.
"Uhh" I tried to stutter as my head flicked up and I came face to face with the person or god in front of me. His hair was fiery brown, with green eyes to match. His tight sweater defined the clearly defined bod underneath, while a smile danced around his mouth which lighted up his whole face. "I'm sorry" was all I could reply, cheeks glowing red.
"Nahh its okay, I dont really eat here though, mainly go to restaurants. So my fridge doesnt have the "best" of foods."
I nodded quickly, and starred down at my food. At the corner of my eye, I could see him just looking at me & tracing my every move. I gave him a confused "look" and he soon shook out of his trance.
He cleared his throat as he introduced himself. "Hey, I'm Ethan, & I'm going to be your new roommate, I guess. I like hanging out but I'm a Intern at the moment, who's hoping to become a doctor." When he stopped, I kinda guessed it was my turn. Hmm where do I begin? I asked myself.
"I'm Kandi..uhh..I just graduated from the University in Law, but I dont wish to pursue that career. I'm more of want to become an uhh.. stay at home mom." At the moment I said that Ethan froze and looked at me again, HARD!
"Wait, did you say your name was Kandi?" he asked gently.
"Yup no other." I cut in.
"..and what high school did you graduate from?"
Why was he asking this? "Calder High" "Kandi, its me Ethan Greendale.", he spoke almost spell-like. As a million thoughts -and questions- ran through my head, all I could do was scream- joy mixed with fear. Because here was my best friend, living and breathing in front of me, that everyone had presumed [b]dead?![/b]
