Last time on "It Could Happen To You" Jeremy took Chloe to "Fancy Rajun Cajun" for an evening of entertainment. For some strange reason, Jeremy kept sweating uncontrollably and running to the men's room.

Was Jeremy ill? Or was some one unexpected, there?

Find out next on, "It Could Happen To You" Chp. 2! Chloe proceeded to order; unaware of what was going on with Jeremy. She waited and waited for his return. She ordered a Long Island Ice Tea as she pondered to herself,
"What the hell is going on"? Chloe finally got up and went to ask the host if he had seen Jeremy. By that time, he was right behind her.

Jeremy: Chloe over here!

Chloe: Jeremy, where have you been? I've been waiting for you a while now.

Jeremy: Ummm...Err...we had bad seating. I went to get our waitress so that she could seat us out back since it's such a wonderul evening.

Chloe: Oh... Alright...

She followed him to outside seating, but her gut told her that something very strange was going on. Wow! Rajun Cajun was even prettier out there.

Chloe: Jeremy, this place is GORGEOUS!

Jeremy: I know, almost as gorgeous as you are. Now may I have this dance?

Chloe: Why of course. The two of them literally danced the night away until the stars began to dissolve and the beginning of daybreak peeked through the clouds. Jeremy: Chloe, I umm... have a confession to make. I believe that you better sit down for this one.

Chloe: ??? Sure, What's wrong Jeremy? Jeremy: Well... we have had a lot of problems in the past... Jeremy: And I would like to apologize for...

Chloe: Darling, don't apologize, there's nothing that we can't work on. Things don't come easy but they always seem to GO even easier. I've been through so much in my past and... Jeremy: Yeah, but it's been a lot of heart ache... and I just can't... well I won't... I just need to know... Jeremy: Will you marry me? Chloe: Oh my God! Jeremy, you almost gave me a heart break!

Jeremy: Surprise!!! Jeremy: Well? I'm still on bended knee babe, are you going to answer?

Chloe: YES, YES, YEEESSS!!!

Jeremy slipped the ring on her finger ever so gently just before sunrise. Chloe WAS his sunshine and he had done everything in his power to prove it. They kissed for what seemed like hours.
"What a brilliant evening," Chloe thought to herself, "This WAS a perfect night...err... and morning indeed." She got it. Chloe finally got the man and 3 carat rock of her dreams. She felt like nothing else could possibly go wrong in this liftetime. Jeremy: Well that was refreshing to know! I got to get ready for work in a few. What do ya say we go home FIANCE`E.

Chloe: But of course. *Giggling* Just as soon as they got home, Chloe and Jeremy showered together to get their day started. Thank God it was Friday! Jeremy threw on some casual jeans for work, brushed his hair, grabbed a quick breakfast snack and headed off to work. Chloe on the other hand, washed her hair and called everyone she could possibly think of to share the good news. ESPECIALLY Nicole. Back @ Nicole's
Nicole: Dave, honey, I don't want to BE the bearer of rotten news. This is Chloe's SPECIAL day! One of many more to come! I just can't bring myself to tell her.

Dave: TELL her. Nicole: She just called, her and Jeremy got engaged last night at Rajun Cajun, well rather this morning, any how, she's very excited and she wants us to come over this evening when J gets off of work.

Dave: Perfect, what better time to pull her to the side and tell her.

Nicole: Emmph *Pouting* Dave: Sweet heart, look at it this way, your her cousin, not only that, your her BEST FRIEND! If she doesn't have you to depend on then who? And by the way...... Dave: You would want her to tell you right?

Nicole: ??? *Puzzled*

Dave: If It Happen To You? Nicole examined herself in the mirror.

"It couldn't possibly be THAT bad to let out, could it"? "How do I even start? O boy... Maybe I should let some of the excitement die down a bit and just put it off one more day".

For once, just once in her life, Nicole didn't feel like she was ruler of her own world. Chloe grabbed a few things from the grocery store, anxious to celebrate her engagement with a few friends and family. She even called her mother Maureen, down south to share the good news. Maureen was so proud of her, she couldn't wait to come up with the family for the BIG day. Evening @ Chloe's
Folks started piling in by the plenty! Chloe sat down with Adelia for a moment of newly wed chatting.

Chloe: So how IS the marriage life Adelia? You and Antjuan doing well?

Adelia: Girl yes! As you can very well see with this big belly of mine! We're officially having our baby boy! I'm too elated! And congrats to you! I've gotta hurry and have this baby before this wedding! It'll be so nice to actually have you as my sister-in-law. You two thinking of kids Chloe?

Chloe: Whoa! Slow down girl! More like later than sooner! *Smirk* Even though I know its coming soon. But thanks for the congrats. I'm going to get dinner started. Let me know if you need anything. I'll be back in a bit. Antjuan: Congratulations Bro! I heard the news! You're really gonna settle down huh?

Jeremy: You bet. I love that woman in there. Antjuan: Well, if your happy, I'm happy. Remember doe. Marriage is what you make it. Now what's she cooking in there? Chloe: Hey you two, enough whispering! I've got beer in here for ya. Who's up for some ribs!

Antjuan: I'm all for it! Antjuan: See bro, I like her already! You have nothing to worry about.

Jeremy: Heehee, man you crazy! *Laughing* The crowd drank, ate, partied, and partied some more until the show was over and it was time to go home.

Chloe: Well, Goodnight everyone, thanks for coming by! Hey Nicole, I'd like to go downtown with you tomorrow and look at Bridal apparel if you don't have plans.

Nicole: Plans...err...naah, no plans, tomorrow's fine. Goodnight, and thanks for having us.

*Will Nicole tell Chloe the secret she's been trying to hold back for so long?*
