Hey guys, this is one of my first stories and I hope you like it. In fact, it is the prolouge to "Welcome To My World". The prolouge will tell you a little about Kiara (main character) and her life.
So, enjoy! (comments are welcome, :p) The screech of a fancy black convertibale car skidding up to the building echoed in the somehow busy silence that surronded Kiara. Pulling up her new $500 Gucci boots, she strutted down the sidewalk, gushing confidence and Beauty. Sunlight reflected off of her black, glossy hair and glinted brightly off of her sheek new belt. Style was everything to her. After applying a fresh coat of Glamour Girl Gloss, Mint Sundae flavoured, the corners of Kiara's lips turned up into what you could call a smile. Her eyes twinkled in the light, and her flawless complextion made her look as though she was a model showing herself off while making her way down the catwalk. Actors and actresses walked quickely through the glass double doors. Some of them already wearing their costumes and makeup that they were given to put on for the day. Kiara passed comercial scenes and TV episodes that were being filmed and recorded. Television stars and directors buisily made their way through the collosal building while Camera flashes blinked in rooms labeled "Clothing Models" and "Next Covergirl Magazine Shoot". It was her dream to work at a place like this, and be at the top. Kiara had always imagined herself in the fashion buisness, but now, she was about to sky rocket up--about to become a star. Although she was already pretty famous, more couldn't do anything but help. Soon she would be invited to all the parties, and everyone would know her name. Stepping into a moderatly cold room, with white floors and glass walls, she got down to buisness. A young movie director sat in a black Raulph Lauren chair, relaxing as his characters shouted out lines with jelousy and annoyance in their voices. Looking first left and then right, to make sure she didn't disrupt any filming cameras, she darted across the room with expert skill. Her boot heels clicking loudly on the wood floor. Kiara slowely lowered herself into one of the coushiony chairs and surveyed the scene. Everything seemed to be in its proper order, but before leaving she had to deliver her important news to the new director. Speaking quietly and with careful exageration she whispered into his ear, "Marcel's Fashion Jungle show. Friday afternoon, Mion Plaza. Be there." And with that, and another click of her heels on the floor, she was off. She had more important things to do. Walking briskly through the long halls she had cameras snapping pictures at her and yelling out random questions like "Kiara, Kiara! Are you really dating James Long?!?" or "Was that you the other day at the nightclub "Bonzour"???" and "Can you stop a minute? Answer some questions?" Their reedy vioces bouncing off the wall might have made anyone else at least a little annoyed but they just gave Kiara more confidence. The press might not love her, but they certainly did want information. Instead of stoping to answer their questions though, she pressed foward with a blank runway stare, heading towards her next destination.
Entering another hallway she stopped, only for a moment, to answer hurried questions shot at her from inexperienced actors and workers. "Kiara! Wait, James L. needs a copy of the new SimsStars magazine cover. He's working on the layout for the next few pages. Can you get the cover for me, Kiara?" a blonde haired assistant inquired of her. "Listen, not now. I have more things to do, tell him Marcel has it though, and he's waiting for James to pick it up in the conferance room. James should have the key. I have to go now," Kiara shoed the assistiant away like an unimportant fly and, once again, continued down the hall. Only stopping to type a short email to SimPeople Magazine, Kiara's fingers raced across the keyboard. "annnddd...send," Kiara whispered to herself as she finished the email.
"Kiara," a vioce asked loudly, although instead of her name coming out like a question it came out as more of a demand.
Without even looking aroung Kiara answered a sharp, "Yes?" puting an accent on the word as though every sylabal spoken to her was a waiste of time. Finally, Kiara took a quick glance over her shoulder--"oh it's that dopey assistiant again...he won't last a week," she thought. Despite her latest contemplation about the new assistiant, though, she urged him on, "Continue".
"James wanted to thank you for the...errrrmmm, info. about the SimsStars Magazine cover...So, thank you," the assistiant studered quietly then started to shuffel out.
"Alright, welcome then, now please leave," Kiara murmmered, but it was already wasted because the assitiant was gone and the door was tightly shut. After leaving her new Dell flat-screen computer and briskly making her way through the halls, Kiara stood face to face with Kaity Rochell, a famous sim celeb. "Listen Kaity, I know the magazine said you would be working with Marcel today but he had something come up and you'll now be working with Emma, she is a good one. Trust me. Her photo portpholio may not be as famous, but she will do you justice. Puh-lease, Kaity, you have got to get into that outfiting room. The make up stylest will be waiting, and I believe your out fit will be fine as it is, due to the lack of time," She hurriedly tried to talk Kaity into doing the shoot that was planned to go on the cover of the newest edition of GlamourGirl17. Sometimes Celebs could be so full of themselves that it made them very hard to work with. "I do not want Emma! Marcel is one of my personal photographers, and he knows me best! Blah, blah, blah, blah! I do not care if this "Emma" person is good or not, she will not be doing my photos! I demand Marcel!" Kaity babbled loudly, not caring who passed her in the hallway.
"Kaity calm down and listen to me. You only have two choices here. Number one is that you have Emma take your photos and you still end up on the new cover of GlamourGirl17, o-kay? Number two is that you leave here right now, without doing the shoot. We will, ohhbbbviously, have found some one else who will do the shoot by then. There are millions of people out there who would pay to do this! So which is it? One or two?" Almost 30 minutes later Kaity Rochell posed on a newly furnished set as cameras snapped pictures of her saying how comfy it was or of her relaxing. Taking one last look at Kaity, Kiara turned away from the comercial scene and started hastily walking toward her next destination: "The Dance" scene. Of coarse, at the moment, people were applying make up and changing into out fits, which couldn't last to long, so she had to get there, and fast. It was essential she make sure everything was right before she could allow the actors and actresses on set. "Oh, hello, Kiara. I have been expecting you. I know you have only so much time before you to move on to more important matters, but can just take a quick look at my charaters? If you need anything just tell me. Thank you, by the way," said the director of the movie.
With out a nod or a reply, Kiara scanned the charaters promptly. Everything seemed fine, and she had no time for this nonsense, she had to get back to her office. Scanning one last time she turned to leave. Before she could exit the room though, her phone vibrated soundlessly. Flipping the phone open, Kiara answered a quick, "Hello?"
After 30 seconds of someone murmmering on the other line she whispered into the phone, "I'll be there," and snapped it shut, smiling. Slipping the phone back into her purse, she stole one last look around the room. All the characters were in place, make up on, and scripts ready--she could finally leave. Gripping the stearing wheel lightly, Kiara pulled away from the studio building. Finally relaxing and leaving behinde her work, Kiara smiled. Click...click...Kiara stepped out of the black convertable and adjusted her turquiose Guess jacket. After applying another fresh coat of Glamour Girl Gloss, she sauntered sexily down the road, as if she were taking place in a major runway show. The familiar view of the white and grey soccer stadium came into Kiara's view. She smiled slightly, anxiously awaiting her meeting with Rob. Fixing her hair to perfection, pulling up her white Gucci boots, and smoothing the nonexistant wrinkles in her shirt, she continued towards the stands. It was only practice for the players, but once Kiara had gotten the call from Rob she had decided to come imiadatly, it didn't matter if it meant only staying for a short while at the stadium. It suprised her, even, that she was so devoted to Rob. Every time she saw him she got this thrill, this feeling. He was important to her, more important than anyone else in her life. The sound of running feet reached her ears as she neared the stadium. Soccer players raced back and forth across the feild, dribbling balls with them. Once the players had reached one end of the field, Kiara made her way over to them, hoping Rob would be waiting for her. Approaching the fence that encircled the field, Kiara stopped. She looked around with interest, trying to catch a glimpse of him. Finally, when she gave up on finding him amonst all the players in similar uniforms, Kiara called out Rob's name. After a few moments of waiting, Kiara spotted him running toward her. She smiled, her heart jumping. After all of these monthes, she still got that feeling every time she saw him. Before even one word was spoken they Rob pulled Kiara into a warm embrace. They kissed pasionatly, and she hoped it would last forever. Before Kiara could stop herself, though, a thought fleeted through her mind. I love him, I really do. Suprised at herself Kiara pulled sharply away from the kiss. She had never thought that about some one...never. Her relationships had always been on and off. Never for more than a few months. But this...this was different.
Lost in thought, Kiara jumped as Rob whispered in her ear, "What is it?"
"Oh, errmmm, nothing, sorry," Kiara tried to change the subject, "So what is it you wanted to tell me?"
Dissmissing Kiara's odd behavior he smiled and, still holding Kiara in his arms, said, "Kiara, I have some great news. I am now officially first string on the team!"
"Oh! That's wonderful!" Kiara exclaimed, genuinly suprised.
"I know, baby! Well, I have to go, but I will see you later, alright?" And with that, and one last word, he raced of towards his team mates. Sitting on a comfortable stadium chair, Kiara contemplated her troubling thought. Did she really love him? She knew that Rob was the center of her life, besides her job, but did she really love him. Looking off into the distance, Kiara, once again, smiled. She did, didn't she. She did love Rob. The feeling she had had all along, when she saw Rob, maybe that was something of what love is supposed to be...maybe.
Suddenly, the sound of a vioce interupted her thoughts. "Kiara?" It said. Kiara jumped. She hadn't realized that there was anyone next to her until this moment. Looking sideways she reconized the voice to be one of the soccer player's wives. "Is her name Samantha..or...Chelsey?" Kiara thought to herself.
"Yes," She replied, and, for the eighth time, applied another coat of her mint flavoured lipgloss. "I'm not sure if you remember me, but my name is Mia," the annoymous woman said.
"Uhhhhh....whatever!" Kiara wanted to say to the woman, "I was thinking about something! Could you like come back later?" but instead she replied, "oh yes, I remember you," in a cool, calm vioce.
"Well, I was--" The woman began, but the ring of a cell phone cut her off. "Oh, excuse me, sorry, but I need to take this," Kiara said, relieved that she didn't have to talk to the woman.
"Hello?" Kiara answered her phone. The slight hint of someone talking in a very fast vioce came out through the other line.
"Yes, absolutly, I am on my way now. Yeah, bye," Kiara replied, a little louder than she needed to, so that the woman next to her could here. Taking a glance at the hard at work soccer players, Kiara made her way down from the stands. As Rob was running by, she purposly caught his eye, and beckoned him over with a flick of her wrist. As Rob reached Kiara he started to pull Kiara in for a kiss, but she beat him there. The sunlight reflected off of her hair, and her skin had an unrealistic rosy tint to it. The couple looked to perfect to be real, like some computerized scene, without a single flaw. Players on the field stopped to watch the kiss and to envy Rob's beautiful love. The girlfriends and wives glowered at their men, while in the middle of it all, Kiara glowed with happiness. She loved being the center of attention, and, of coarse, being with Rob.

Great story and my 1 and only 5 star rating. You have a perfect eye for the details. You have a real gift for writing and shouldn't stop. Here or in real life. I honestly think writing would be a great job for you. This is perfect, I can't wait to read the second part. My 1 and only disapointment with this story is how suddenly it ended. The only improvement I could possibly suggest would be to end it in a way that leaves us wanting more yet still gives a final feeling to the story. If that makes any sense at all.
And on a completely seperate note
to BoodMae You say you hate when "spellin" is incorrect. Yet you spell spelling wrong 2 times in your post lol. Its spelling not "spellin". I am by no way good at spelling. And I'm the 1st to admit when I know I have spelled something wrong. But come on if your gonna say how u hate it when others mispell words at least get your spelling right. Please know I say this in a jokeing way. Hope you get a laugh and learn at the same time.
Happy simming

Great Job!
Keep up the great work, and maybe if you increase the picture size in game... But only if your computer doesnt run slow. Other than that the story is a very good one.
