Hi Yes in the Sims 3 you don't need a ladder in the pools anymore. the jump in the pool and they climb out of the pool without a ladder. I didn't do a thing they just did it on there own. So if you want to drown your Sims build a normal wall straight around it because if they are tired they will climb out on there own.
