Yay! I'm back with a new story! I deleted the one I submitted recently because I wasn't proud of it and I didn't see it going far. So I hope you like this one! P.S: I'm sorry if Eva is a little hard to understand, but I wanted to make her as intelligent as possible...So...You might need a dictionary for some parts...;)

My name is Eva Tikna, Unit II, and this is my story. I'm sorry to start with such an unpleasant picture, but I had been inspecting my living quarters when I came upon a bee nest...somehow... I come from the planet Xepxar. I came here as part of a Unit on a ship, and I have been assigned to document life on the planet. In three years I will report back to my Commander. So far, I can't account for its pleasant aspects, as you can see, but I am determined to learn. Welcome to my life. The primitive materials on this planet still amazed me. Especially the glass- what was the use of it if you could not see the coming events through it? I had been searching for lesser intelligence in the small nature space assigned to me. From the humans I had observed, I devised these facts: 1: Their primary attire appears to be a green overall with a banal outfit beneath. 2: After listening to their inane chatter, I have learnt that their diet consists of what seems to be a cooked canine in a tube-like bread, accompanied by bubbly liquids in cylinders of tin. And 3: They have communities much like ours, and...families. I had a family once. A home, too. A companion. But I was alone now. I shook the thought off and sat down by my plants. One was not thriving- I suspected that I had overwatered it. But the intense heat! How could anything survive?! But I was learning, at least. I was developing a love for the nature of this place. As the evening turned to night, I picked up a science fiction book I had been reading. I couldn't help smirking at the wild ideas that dotted its pages. Tiny green people with black eyes? Excuse me, but do I look tiny? No. Sleep came easy that night, but I tossed and turned. I had not spoken to anyone but my plants in a week. A strange feeling invaded my unconscious thoughts...It was unpleasant, and it had a tinge of bitterness to it. It would be a long time before I could understand it, but I was...lonely.
