I have always been interested in construction. I was drawing houses and house plans from the time I could hold a pencil. My dream in life was to grow up to be a great builder and architect. But in those days, the only proper career open to females was that of a mother, nurse or teacher. So I planned and studied to be a teacher and ended up being a Mom. No regrets, I have a wonderful family. I DID manage to design one real house and to see it built and to live in it for many years. Now I build in the digital world. It's much easier than building in real life! I have a few uploads at the 'official' Sims2 site, just do a search for Emashapa :)

Note about Ambrose that sweet little kitten in my avatar space: He has grown into a large, healthy year-old cat. After going through a rebellious stage, he is turning into a sweet snuggler. Only on his terms, though. He's kind of an oddball in that he loves to play in water, fascinated with tissue boxes and our sink disposal unit. (He has found out how to remove the safety splash guard). I attribute his behavior and demeanor to being hand raised and bottle fed.
