Amanda and Jace decided to go try out their new vacation house. This picture is taken when they were already back home, but it looks pretty as a cover :) And here is the vacation house. Not really much, but they aren't here to sit locked in 4 walls, right? Amanda and Jace went to check out the local comunity lots immidiately. Amanda made a wish in the fountain. And Jace tried adding sope in it... Why? Because I wanted to see what happens. And this is what did happen. Creepy. I wonder if the water will get back to normal. A closer look. As you probably remember from Part 1, Amanda has maps to ALL the vacation secret lots, so they came to visit the witch doctor. This is how he looks like. Well as it is supposed to be, he said he can't entertain any guests, because everything is broken and he gives up. Amanda decided to help and fixed every broken object, while Jace helped with cleaning the puddles. Amanda got a reward for this! It was a WooDoo doll. The Witch Doctor said he was planning to use it on the guy who sold him the broken stuff but he doesn't need it now. I hope it will be useful for us! The main thing on vacation for us is to relax and have a good time. But for sims it's to learn something new! While Jace was chatting with locals and trying to learn the "Hang loose" gesture, Amanda paid the guy on the beach to learn fire dancing. The learning took longer than I thought it would, so Jace had to entertain himself with something. He went to build sandcastles. One after another... Early breakfast, trying the local food. Amanda really liked the local clothing, so she went shopping soon after breakfast. She looks nice, doesn't she? While Jace was burning in the sun (and I mean it, the sunburns he has now just don't go away...), Amanda was looking for shells. And found something! Not the shells, unfortunately, but some jewelry. And she got a memento of finding a beach treasure! A new location, a new massage to learn. And a romantic evening near the pirate ship... Do you know what the pretty white dress means? You're right! It means wedding! Why do this at home when you can get married on a vacation, in some nice place. Ghosts not only live in your graveyards. This one lives in a pirate ship. And he's more friendly than those in the graveyards. Here you can see Amanda singing with him. Time flies when you're having fun on vacations, good thing that you get those bonusses when you get home. Promotions were just falling from the sky it seemed and here is the first career reward we have! (Jace - Entertainment career track) First loss. Mr Death came to take Max away... Sad. He will remain alive in our hearts and pictures taken. A new portrait of Amanda. This one looks better, right? So I'll sell the old one and keep the new one. A ghost of Max. Have to admit it's the first time I see a ghost of a pet. I had pets that died, but now ghosts. Interesting. And he's even digging holes! But not real ones. The hole disappeared when he stopped digging. I may be too sensitive, but it breaks my heart to see a ghost of a pet running around, playing. He was so nice :( I even can't give up pets for adoption! I know those are pixels in your screen and nothing more, but I just can't do it! Funny thing is a human brain/heart or whatever that is... Another career reward. Amanda has discovered her true passion. It's Music&Dance.
The family hobby is still Arts&Crafts, but let her do what she likes. That VooDoo doll was really useful at business. A few clicks and you befriend a costumer. And that means one loyalty star immediately! Just don't use it too often, or you will be sorry... I learned it the hard way. When the ghost of Max appeared I realized whan REALLY BAD thing. That pet woohoo didn't end up with pregnancy. So I need another male dog FAST. And Cleo will be my pet breed founder. Good thing that by that time she has learned everything and had a top level job in Showbiz career. So Jace just called the adoption service and that's how Grimalkin joined the family. This time it was more successful and two puppies were born! A named a girl Lilu and a boy Max (to remember our first pet friend). This is taken in the buy mode, changed to daylight view, so you can see better. The same night Amanda realized she's also going to have a baby.
Business was level 8 and I hoped to get it to level 10 before the 2nd generation is born but waiting longer was too much of a risk. I didn't want to end up not being able to have a heir... But if only I knew... Amanda gave birth to twin baby girls!!! (No cheesecake! Natural twins!)
I named them Batrice and Caroline. Business was level 9 when they were born. Oh well, no perfect legacy... But hey, it's my first! The new bigger family needed a better house. They had lots of money after all!! So this is what I built for them. It's almost finished, there is just going to be one more room - for career rewards. And now the house is complete. A pet paradise :) Remember in the part 1, while in college, Amanda spent some time to study parenting and now she can "check on" baby? So for anyone curious, this is how it looks like. (Caroline is telling us she wants to sleep) While Amanda was at home with the babies, Jace went to buy clothes for them. He spent lots of money! And notice the red face? It's not the heat. It's sunburn. Told you it stays for a not normal amount of time. Will he even die with it? Very soon our little puppies grew up into big dogs. Lilu got a job in a service career track, she's going to continue the family breed! Beatrice was first to grow up to toddler. A closer look. Hair just like Amanda's! And she has Amanda's eyes. It took a few hours longer for Caroline, but there she is. She has daddy's eyes. Jace had this birthday another day. He called his boss and became a retired Headliner.
He maxed his lifetime aspiration meter (I mean the new one, with points), so I rolled for a secondary aspiration both for him and Amanda. They both got romance (I was hoping for knowledge.. oh well, the dice has said it's word).
P. S. The sunburn is still there!!! Jace wasn't the only one getting old. This is Cleo. She also retired. Mother and daughter. I just liked this picture, it's pretty. At first I thought I'm going to go crazy - keeping jobs, checking in with business (had no time to visit that lot...), taking care of pets, and teaching twin toddlers the toddler skills! (And all that not only without cheats, but without aspiration rewards! I missed the smart milk so much...). But it all went well and the girls even grew up in platinum. This is how their room looks now.
And the points I have so far are:

Family breed: 0,75
Bon Voyage: 2
Free Time: 0,5 There are the girls. Beatrice on the left and Caroline on the right. I'm not sure yet which one is going to continue my legacy. Beatrice has a better personality, she's prettier. But her natural talent is Science and Caroline's is Arts&Crafts, which is a must for every heir. Well there's still time to think... And I will leave you guessing for a while.

    Wow never knew you could do that with a voodoo doll, I'm gonna track down my sim that got it from the Witch Doctor and see what exactly it can do.
    Oo not seen the "check on baby" I keep meaning to have a sim study parenting but haven't got around to it.
