My life's drama all begin when a strange lady dropped me at the door of a large mansion and left me there after ringing the door bell! I was just a young girl at the time and the house I was left at I had never seen before.

My life's drama all begin when a strange lady dropped me at the door of a large mansion and left me there after ringing the door bell! I was just a young girl at the time and the house I was left at I had never seen before. A handsome man came to the door and picked me up and gave me a warm hug and wondered where I came from. Me not being able to talk at the time , I couldn't tell him what have happen before the doorbell rang.

I just looked into his eyes and put my hand on his chest and enjoyed the fact he was holding me at the moment. I was lost at the moment to know what to do what next, I just held on to his for dear life. The first thing that the man did was to help me learn to walk, and he spent all the time needed to make sure that I was able to get around the house on my own in time. I remember that the man made a phone call to someone and asked for help with taking care of me! I didn't know what was going to happen to me at this point, I was sitting on the floor near him and was hoping that he would not do the same and put me on another doorstep somewhere. Some lady came to the home and she took one look at me and thought of me for a moment and then checked out the house. The man was holding me at the time, and called the lady over to watch me because he had to leave. The lady came over and looked at the man and they talked for a moment or so, and then she took me so he could leave and go to some meeting. The lady asked what my name was and the man didn't know what my name was in fact I didn't either.

So the man, just thought up a name to call me since I was in his house and under his care. He said I looked like a Kim and that is what he began calling me from that point on. The lady said that she would take good care of me until the man came back. The man left the house and I was afraid that he would leave him and not come back like the woman who sat me down and never came back for me. I knew I was there with someone, but my life was in someone else's hand for now or maybe for a long time. The man returned from his meeting and came in the house to see me, I felt as if I missed him while he was away and at this point I had no one to feel anything about! I was glad to see him and hope that he doesn't stop looking after me. He came in and gave me big hug and a light loving kiss, one that felt so good to me and in fact was the first time I felt anything so warm and wonderful.

This man that I now call "Cowboy" because that is what he looks like to me, in my mind is the nearest thing to a parent that I could have at this moment. I can only do my best to be as good to him as he is to me. 'Cowboy' brought me a teddy bear to play with, it is the first toy I have ever had and I loved it. 'Cowboy' was so overjoyed to see me playing with the toy and he wanted to make sure that I was happy. I heard the doorbell ring and the lady let an older man into the house, it was 'Cowboy's lawyer. At this time in my life I had no idea what a lawyer was, but he must have been important. They begin talking about the toy that I had brought to me and said that he hopes it made me happy.

He did say that he wanted to be able to keep, but wanted to be able to do it legally, whatever that meant. So the man told him that he would get to work on it right away, so he had to leave to get going on it! Five years later.......

I was asked to come and sit with 'Cowboy' and his lawyer for a little chat about somethings that have come up. The lawyer told 'Cowboy' that he could be my legal guardian now, since my real mother could not be found and that since he was wealthy he could support me and keep me as his adopted daugther if he wanted to do that.

'Cowboy' was overjoyed to know that he could be able to keep me as his adopted daugther and and give me his name and raise me in the absense of my real mother. I asked 'Cowboy' if he could have his lawyer continue looking for my mother and see what ever has happen to her. 'Cowboy' did just that and, and the lawyer was going to do a search for her as soon as he got back to his office.

 Me and 'Cowboy' sat down to talk about the fact that I was going to be his adopted daugther soon and that he would do what he could to find out what happen to my real mom. If he found my real mom and she was able and willing to take me back that I might have to leave him and go with her.

That made my heart heavy with sadness because I was begining to love him as my caretaker and soon to be dad and I didn't want to be without him. So I was wondering if I really wanted him to find my mother or not, my only question to her is why she left me.

So now we would want for a judge to make it final on the adoption and also wait for word form the lawyer on where my mother might be! Only time would tell what was going to happen to me if she showed up and wanted me back or even if she ever wants to be found.
